Hacking is a Felony

WWE.com is reporting that Vince McMahon will be appearing on Monday Night Raw next week in what they are promoting as "Mr. McMahon strikes back."

PWInsider is also reporting that the USA Network also sent out an advisory today announcing that next week's Raw would open with an appearance by McMahon after a "prolonged absence."

Given the dramatic drop in the rating for Raw this week (which saw the show drop all the way to a 2.5 rating - its lowest non-holiday rating since 1997) and the three weeks prior, this is obviously an attempt by WWE to spike next week's rating on Monday night.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there were meetings set for today and tomorrow within WWE regarding what to do about the low rating for Raw this past Monday night.

According to the report, Vince McMahon is said to be encouraging ideas "out of the box" to help turn things around for the product. The writing team is reportedly under major stress right now. As reported earlier, the first big idea set forth is the return of Mr. McMahon to WWE TV on Monday in the opening segment.
