Chavo & Vickie Guerrero then came out with the autographed steel chair that made him "quit" on Smackdown. Mysterio tried to attack Chavo, but Chavo took him down. Chris Benoit then hit the ring to make the save. - Backstage, Smackdown GM Teddy Long told Batista that he was going to be King Booker's bodyguard until Sunday because Long doesn't want the Smackdown champion injured going into Cyber Sunday. Various vignettes aired throughout the night of Batista not letting Booker or Sharmell out of his sight. - WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated K.C. James & Idol Stevens. - The Undertaker & Kane defeated WWE U.S. Champion Mr. Kennedy & MVP. - The Miz & Kristal defeated Vito & Layla. After the match, The Boogeyman came out and Miz ran away. Boogeyman kissed Kristal. No worms tonight. - WWE Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms defeated Jimmy Wang Yang. - Bobby Lashley defeated Jamie Noble. - Backstage, some WWE wrestlers tried to attack Booker, but Batista fought them off. - The show ended with a brawl between Batista and Finlay. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I've always felt that Booker does much better as a face than a heel. He just doesn't seem to play the heel to well. He always comes off sort of goofy to me. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Actually, I may have to take back one thing I said earlier in this thread. I did enjoy Booker as a heel when he first came over to WWE from WCW. He had a mini-fued with the Rock. The Rock was in his hey-day then. I busted up the first time the Rock saw Booker and asked him "who in the blue hell are you?". He then later asked Booker if he took "the short bus to school. You know, the one for the special kids?" |
