The following took place on Tuesday in St. Louis:

Dark Match:

- WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated K.C. James & Idol Stevens.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Tapings (October 27):

- Batista comes out to the ring to kick off the show and calls out Finlay. Paul Heyman comes out instead with his security guards. Heyman tries to get Batista to make the jump to ECW. Batista thinks about it, shakes Heyman's hand, but then gives him a thumbs down. Batista beats up the security guards when Big Show and King Booker hit the ring. John Cena runs down to make the save for Batista.

- William Regal & Dave Taylor defeated Tatanka & Bobby Lashley.

- Backstage, Kristal is interviewing WWE U.S. Champion Chris Benoit when Benoit spots Vickie Guerrero. Benoit mentions to Vickie how good of friends he was with Eddie Guerrero. Vickie says Benoit wasn't as close to Eddie as he thought.

- Backstage, MVP tells Smackdown GM Teddy Long that he has an intestinal virus and has a clause in his contract where he could take a sick day. So, MVP won't be facing Kane in a No DQ Match later tonight. Mr. Kennedy then comes in and demands a match with The Undertaker. Long says The Undertaker wasn't there and instead books Kennedy against Kane in the No DQ Match.

- Backstage, Vickie Guerrero tells Chavo Guerrero to stay away from Chris Benoit. Chavo said he likes to keep his friends close and his enemies closer.

- WWE Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms defeated Matt Hardy in a Non-Title Match.

- Backstage, Ashley shows off her Halloween costume to Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

- Mr. Kennedy defeated Kane in a No DQ Match. MVP came out and hit Kane with a chair to help Kennedy get the win.

- Backstage, John Cena gives Batista a pep talk.

- Smackdown GM Teddy Long comes out and announces Mr. Kennedy & MVP vs. Kane & The Undertaker next week on Smackdown.

- Kristal won a Trick or Treat Diva's Battle Royal. Also involved included Jillian Hall, Michelle McCool, Ashley and Layla. The Miz helped Kristal win by pulling Layla off the ring apron. After the match, The Miz says he helped Kristal win after she had the "fat stripper" dance for him at No Mercy. The Boogeyman then comes out. The Miz pushes Kristal into Boogeyman and takes off. Boogeyman then puts worms in the mouth of Kristal.

- Backstage, Big Show and King Booker speak about their tag team match tonight.

- WWE Champion John Cena & Batista defeated World Heavyweight Champion King Booker & ECW Champion Big Show. Batista got the win on Booker after a Batista Bomb. Big Show also walked out on Booker during the match.
