Default Dukebrown- April update- Open Division


Heres a short Bio: LOL

25 years old
6'1 250lbs First pic set April 2006
Played some D1 football, plagued by injuries due to lack of flexability and training to failure while in season. << Big mistake.

After college I only worked out Tues and Sat for 6 months because of this thing called a career, I had to buckle down and put some long hours in. Ya the money was good but I lost 25lbs lbm and got fatter.
Since my deployment in August I have gotten everthing except my chest back up to prior football size.

I am doing this competition from Iraq so some hardship may come from it.
5months ago apon arrival I injured my Left shoulder = 2 month set back on all pressing movements.

I have never done any BB comps. I did the BFL back in 2001 That was the last time I was ever lean. Playing ball you want some extra padding to knock some heads off.

This is going to be alot of fun to see how I and the rest of the competitors progress over the six month challenge.

Last: I may have to cut my challange short 1 month because I get to see my lovely wife some time in August when I go on leave for 2 weeks.

Will there be any penalties for finishing early? You know what I dont care.
The main thing that I want out of this is some critique and experimenting with the crazy diet.

Alright... the Open Division.

Bring it!


But..... you do have to submit all your pics through November, including the final pics.

Submitting your final pics early would be like asking the judge at your state show held in November, if he could just look at your condition at the end of summer and place you based on that.

You gotta show up on stage on show day!

But, great to see an open competitor. Looks like you have the potential to do really well. Good luck. :nosthumbs

I do get your drift but when I go on leave I am going to Europe and the diet is going to be hard to do. I will do my best bet I will try and get in condition twice if need be.

Lookin good. Puff your chest up, lean back, and push your arms out (I imagine I'm trying to disolate my shoulder) on the lat spread. You got more width in ya than that, alot more by the looks of it. And look forward

I appreciate it but over the past 4 years of lifting I probably drank and didnt train for 2years. Injuries and surguries keep me out of the gym and so I tilted back a few while rehabing.

Ya my posssing is not the strongest, I should get it right here in a few months
