Post DawnMarie - JUNE Picture Updates - Most Improved Physique

Well, I learned serveral things this month while taking these

1) Outside lighting stinks, especially at dusk. Next time move the stuff out of the way and take inside!

2) Floral print swimsuits make your butt look huge on camera!

3) Boy shorts cover ugly tummies better.

4) Need some serious work on my posing!

5) Progress shows better in the mirror than in photos...thankfully

That said, here are my pics *cringe*. Hopefully I will do better on next months - but at least they are in and I will have several days of vacation starting tommorrow to forget about them

Summary:
Dropped some BF and gained muscle over the last month. Weight is like a rollercoaster due to carb cycling but averaging about 162 and about 162.8 in photos this month. Tweaking plan when I return from vacation on 12th so hope to see some decrease in weight ove the coming weeks.

Here are the side ones, one side was really bad, I was in a weird pose and had a strange facial expression..lol..oh well. Threw in a couple comparisons also. Still don't see a ton of change but there's always next month - it's not over yet!!!!!

I have to second the comment on quads - your legs are showing some serious improvement. Your arms look awesome, as always. Your torso is coming along. Overall, you seem to be rocking out! Can't wait to hear what you plan on changing in your routine because this one is doing so well but I'm sure that you'll be able to do better.

Good Lord... did you say you don't see much change???

Look at the front and top of your delts in the front double bi pose.
Your delts are more rounded on top and much tighter, and look at the pec tie in to your delts.. that's a huge change in shape.

Also, compare the bottom of your arms in the first front double pic with the latest pic.

There is tremendous difference in your quads... that's actually really impressive for less than two months.

Your face is also much tighter and leaner.

The change on the back side is not as dramatic yet.. but it will be coming also...

Keep up the great work Dawn... you've got lots of major change going on there!

I totally agree with what EME said. Your upper body and legs are considerably leaner and looks like you've added mass to boot. I especially see the difference in the delts and pec tie-ins... they are like, WOW!!! Awesome work, Dawn!!!

Default Thank You and I'm Back!

Thank you everyone SO much for you support and encouragement! *hugs* I just got back from vacation today and had a blast and now it is time to get back in gear and work on improvements for next month's pics! I am very excited and can't wait to get back at it. I really appreciate everyone's comments, especially areas I need to improve or those doing better. I see things like muscle where it wasn't before but it is really hard for me to look past the flaws and really see potential instead of the remaining flab that used to make up most of me. I like to give 100%+ when I commit to something and one of my concerns entering the IMPC was if I'd be able to do that with my family obligations. But instead of being all or nothing, I am trying to stay focused and stay positive and just keep getting back on track whatever setbacks come along. Progress is progress, even if sometimes it feels like one step forward one step back. Anyway, thanks again!!!

FNF - LMAO...Woman, one glance at your pics and you KNOW you have no need to be kicking EMEs butt!! lol Besides - I NEED him!! ....Oh and I know you had all those cute furry Disney characters trying to take me out, but I foiled your little plan so you're stuck with me until November now! Muwhahaha...and by the way, Tigger is SO over you now! :p lol Seriously though - thanks for the support, laughs and inspiration.

FNF, Pammie, Arghlita, JJ, EME - Thank you for the complements on the legs and the encouragement. It's funny because I really didn't think the changes showed alot in the pics or were that dramatic as I have felt the difference slowly over time. I was upset because I hadn't worked legs in almost 2 weeks. I think maybe the different pose just made them more visible (although showing the inner thigh is something I generally avoid at all costs ). Of course, those Triple Drop Sets and other leg torture exercises EME has me do certainly seem to be building them up, hopefully the rest of me will follow suit - it's trying! QUESTION: I noticed one calf (right)is about 1" larger than the other - I do the same exercises on both so I guess maybe it's natural? Any suggestions to even them out?

JJ- I am SO not worthy to be compared to anything on DNYC! But thank you so much, I will try my best to come close to living up to your complements

TrickD - Yeah, a little PM birdie told me I should pose different on those lol Thanks for your suggestions, I really appreciated them! Got alot of work on it to do but they definitely were a step in the right direction.

EME, Madman - LOL@EME's smiley. After I had to go look up where that was (LOL..I am still a newbie) I did look closer at the "pec tie-in" area, delta and my arms and I do see a difference there. I don't feel "lean" in any sense of the word but I do feel like I gained muscle and some of the fatty areas have reduced so that is very good

Special thanks to EME for being as Pammie said wonderfully "a GREAT coach" and for keeping me sticking with the plan so I can see more progress. I do see differences from start to now and this "body recomp" stuff is SOOOO much harder than just "losing weight" I am so glad to have EME to push me through it and provide me with what I need to do so I always know I am doing/eating the right things and can focus on my workouts. Thanks!

P.S. I look forward to checking out everyone's pics soon! Can't wait to see how great everyone is doing!
