DawnMarie JULY Updates - MIP - Last Update

Hi Everyone,

Sadly this post will be my last photos for IMPC and my official resignation due to my upcoming surgery (previously discussed in IMPC general section). I look forward to following everyone's progress through the competition and wish you all the best of luck! I added a couple extra comparisions since this is the last update to try to show my cumulative progress. My weight has stayed about the same fluctuating about 7 lbs but I believe I have gained muscle. I have also reduced my BF which was my main goal over the last several months. Caliper in April was 29.7% and in July it was 18.8% so although those are only ballpark I think between that and visible changes that I now see from when I started I feel confident that I have made good progress and I look forward to picking up where I left off as soon as I am recovered.

You have made amazing progress Dawn :clapping: Your shoulders have come along way and your back and of course your darn QUADS!!!!!!!! Im glad you are giving me some time to catch up!!!! So proud of you!!!!!!!! I cant wait to see the new improved version too

Since you guys are so quick you beat me to my last post...I am feeling brave and want to face up to my past so I can start fresh. I want the next part of my journey to be a whole new book, not just a new chapter! So here it is....if anyone thinks it is too late for them to change, please remember this photo....

This is where I came from. This is what my body looked like in March of 2005. This was me at 258 lbs, which was AFTER I had already lost 24.5 lbs since 11/4/2004 when I started my journey at my heaviest ever weight of 282.5 lbs. I cannot look at this picture without blacking out my face. But I am trying to learn that I am who I am now and be comfortable with it and leave this old body behind for good. So I apologize as I know this photo is not nice to look at but I feel it explains where I came from and shows that it is NEVER too late to change - we all start somewhere!

Dawn - I was looking at your pictures when a friend peeked over my shoulder and commented that you look "smoking hot."

I can't believe how far you've come in such a short period of time, both before and during the contest. You amaze and inspire me! Good luck with the surgery and don't be stranger, hear?

You look marvelous! :clapping: WOW, what a difference month to month. Your hard work and dedication is very apparent in your physique. I hope that when this is all over, that I can look as good as you do now. I would kill for your bi's and quads.
