Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | I weighed 137lbs today in the morning. Further details can be found in my contest prep journal, once I update it(don't worry it will be updated very soon) AYung - Contest Prep for the IMPC 2006 Alright I know what I need to improve on for the next photos, diet is still strict, I haven't gone off of my contest prep diet but it can be slightly stricter! The main thing is that I have to TRAIN, TRAIN my muscle groups or else my body will utilize the muscle for energy. I have slacked off in the gym for the past couple weeks so I better get this straightened out or else I will keep losing muscle mass. Cardio has almost been non-existent and yet I still manage to lose fat due to the diet alone. But cardio is going to be performed much more now that I am closer to the contest. You can watch my progress in my journal or just wait a full month to see how I am doing. Well, until next month, keep training hard fellow competitors! ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 299 | lol..after reading that first post I thought I was going to have to grab dnyc99 and come to your house and force you to take those pics. Glad you put them up. Man your getting LEAN almost too lean. You might want to reconsider upping the cardio too much you don't want to strip down any more muscle at this point. Your dropping weight a little too fast IMHO. Up your protein intake and make sure you get those workouts in bro! Your posing is really good though and your back shot's are dead on. Keep up the great work bro just watch that muscle! ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | You cut down WAY too fast and you have definitely lost muscle mass. I really think you should start bulking again and I'm not saying that to take you out of the IMPC, but I'm concerned that you're losing weight so fast, it is not healthy. Losing too much muscle mass will be a major blow to your metabolism. Once you start taking in more calories, you are going to have some big time fat rebound. I suggest you bulk back up and next time you cut, you must cut your calories very conservatively. I saw your macros and they looked okay in theory, but everyone's body is different and you have to adjust for your metabolism. Basically, you look like you are starving yourself. In the future, if you are losing more than 2 lbs per week, increase your calories. I really think you need to bulk and just forget about the contest prep at this point. I can't imagine you dieting down for 10 more weeks, you'll disappear man.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | To be quite honest I think I know the reason I lost that much muscle mass in the peroid of time and that's simply because I got lazy and stopped training for probably 1 month combined. That really negatively impacted my body, it probably thought those muscle groups were of no need anymore and decided to take the muscle and burn it as glucose for fuel. A couple other things that attributed to the heavy weight loss would probably be my rapid metabolism. I will have to adjust my caloric intake slightly above what someone else my weight would be taking in and see how much weight I lose/maintain each week. Also my meal timing has not been all to great since I have school and I work. So some meals will be taken in 2 hours apart, others 4 sometimes 4.5 hours apart. That is no good. But since I am not working nearly as much, the timing will be improved. So if I continue to lose more than 2lbs a week, I will now continue to increase calories.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | I don't think I lost 11lbs of muscle, but I still did lose quite a bit. I'm doing my best to gain some back, as I will be upping my protein intake now.
