Okay, I know I look better in the mirror than I do in these pictures - at least the new bikini is on. Three and a half months left to get my body and my posing where I need it to be, and maybe get someone to help my husband with the pictures

Hey girl,

Your pictures show a tremendous amount of progress. I know that you have had a rough month with your injuries and personal issues, but you have managed to overcome them and put forth a great showing of improvement. Most specifically:Your waist, leg and arms looks smaller...you've definitely lost inches!

Also, I LOVE the new hairstyle! Its very chic and suits the shape of your face..very complimentary oh and the new bathing suit fits very nicely and looks lovely with the color of your skin.

Now for your posing, I am certainly not an expert, nor have I competed, but from what I know of figure posing, you need to do some research. You can google the subject and it will link you to many sites of pro competitors and have guides to posing there. You will need to look up the position of your feet, legs and hands. Try to relax your fingers and make them look elegant, just like the girl you are. I'm sure with a little practice, you'll nail the posing. I know you can do it. I have faith in you.

Keep up the good work. You have come a long way and you WILL succeed! Go for it!

Truckin' is the word Thank you Fitnfirm and bigDman, I do keep trying, but I'd like to start doing!

Thank you everyone for commenting on the hair and the bikini - the haircut was a gift from my mom when I told her it might help my skin condition. It has. The bikini was on sale

JJ - Thanks again! Also, I know I'm smaller all over but I wish I could get the pictures to show the muscles I can see in the mirror - I think part of it might be lighting.

Consistent effort is the key. Yeah, it's been crazy recently with school and the move coming up but no excuses are going to get me what I want.

definetly can see an improvment in your waist and legs! As for the posing, I am not that good either. I guess it takesa lot of practise to get this down right.

That's the right attitude!!! Make the next three months count and look beyond them to the rest of your life. You can achieve anything you set your mind to if you have faith in yourself and accept no excuses. As you said in my thread, you are only competing with yourself; that's what I love about bodybuilding, although you do stand beside others and are judged against them, the actual competition is being decided every time you face off against yourself in the gym.

Ditto on the haircut, it's a good look on you. I see the wild woman coming out in you, nice bikini, you're getting your confidence back and that's half the battle. Now kick some ass in the gym you only have 3 more months to tear it up

In my mind, I have until June 2007 to really tear it up. Our fifth wedding anniversary is then, and I'm hoping to show my husband a return on investment because I simply don't look like the buff soldier chick that he married. I put on almost 100 pounds during the course of our marriage - it was like someone hit the "explode" button the week before my wedding - and I've taken off a little over 40. So somewhere near 55 left to go, and I'm losing about 5 pounds a month. I lost more this month then regained on a bad weekend - it sucks that 3 days can undo 1.5 weeks of work, but them's the breaks.

While I do intend to blow you ALL out of the water with my results between now and November 18 (also my birthday) I'm still focused on the longer term goal of renewing vows looking twice as hot as I did 5 years ago.

I didn't cut my hair for so long because I promised my husband I would wait until we had kids because he loves long hair. But short hair is better for the skin condition on my scalp and after proving that to him, he reluctantly agreed. He's happy with the results and so am I. Short hair is much more me.

So, posing and some tanner are on the list but awe-inspiring fat loss is at the top
