Default Viperspit's Journey to a 6-pack

This space reserrved for some type of journal/log/notes/whaterver I have time to jot down on my quest towards a ripped midsection whilst adding additonal mass. I am currently on Day 4 of a 12 week plan that EME has set me up with. I've asked EME for help for (2) reasons:

1. I could never figure out what my diet should be and really didn't know what "clean" eating was.

2. FnF was so enthusiastic with her program that EME set her up with and I've started seeing gains already on her program, that's there's no way I could let her surpass me.

Background:
42 years old.
6' 4"
229 lbs. today
I started working out again July 4, 2005 after an appx. 5 year layoff. I was into working out pretty serious, then blew out a shoulder and had to have surgery. Needless to say I fell in a trap that many others do. I turned into a couch potatoe, got fat, didn't workout and you know the rest. At any rate, I'm one of those people that do everything all or nothing. I get intersted in something and that's my life for a period of time. I made my mind up last year that I'm not getting any younger, so if I'm going to get back into shape, I better get my ass moving.

So that's my quick life story in terms of bb.

Here's a picture of when I started in July last year. Go ahead and laugh, make fun, or whatever, I do. It's pretty disgusting, I'll agree.

I'll get some pictures tomorrow night for where I stand currently. I started out on that first picture around 245 or so and 23% b.f. Today, I'm 229, and I'm a poor judge on b.f. so I'll let you be the judge when I post tomorrow night. My goal is to have a visible 6-pack so if that's 12 %, 10%, or 8%, to get it to show, that's what I'm going for.

I'll try and post some of my highlights of my workouts along the way. Tomorrow night is Back / Biceps / Calves / Cardio. I hope that my journey can help others in some way as I'll try and share what works for me, what doesn't, etc. Until tomorrow night all, have a great night.

Thanks for the support EME and DarkFalcon. I appreciate it. I took some first in the morning pics of my current falbby abs in the mirror a bit ago that I'll post later with some others that I'll get for current status. Right now I'm enjoying my Carb Refeed day breakfast EME :boink1: I think I'll be looking forward to that day each week for sure. Have a great day gotta ready to go in the office, TGIF.
