yeah, it was just a bad day. I expect too much of myself sometimes, and on that particular day the crappy performance was just the straw that broke the camels back...

I know how you're supposed to do skulls lol, i do them to the jaw because my tris get just as much benefit as going to the forehead without the unneeded elbow strain

very good bench session, very satisfied. haven't flat benched in a while so i had to tinker around with my arch and foot placements to find my set up. the reps marked as Bad reps are pretty much those test reps. on the first my right Hamstring cramped up like hell causing my foot to pop out losing my leg drive and arch right off the chest, was a hard rep but i got it. the second one the same thing happened but this time the bar even got caught under the left rest lol. so that rep was another hard stinker but i got it. when i got everything set up right 185 felt very easy, so on the last set with it i went for another rep and nailed it without it being too hard. I'll try out 190 next week for some singles....

Felt good, although my lower back felt tired from the first warm up set. idk why either but meh, didn't hinder me too much. everything felt pretty heavy, didn't think i would be able to make any PRs today do to my back feeling tired but as soon as i put on 255 the fatigue seemed to go away for the most part and i got my drive back. 260 felt heavy, but good heavy. not " oh shit! " heavy lol...felt like i could of gotten a solid 4 reps with it but just stuck with my usual 2 reps. was temped to take off the 10s/5s/2.5s and put on the 25s to try out 275 but decided not to test my luck too much.

We might bench about the same, but your squats blow me out of the water.

My legs are huge too....I suppose from being overweight for so long, but my squats suck!

lol, trust when i say how surprised i am by my squats since i started back up. first time i ever did them, 95lbs kicked my ass hard....seriously couldn't even get down near parallel with it. except for that spurt where i got 255, before i started lifting again 185 was as heavy as i could usually go. idk what happened over those months of not lifting, or if it's my protein intake+creatine doing it, but whatever it is i don't want it to stop

Well, Maybe after this month off of lifting for surgery, my squats will fly up!

Preacher curls (off bench)

Lifted out of boredom really, should of gone up in weight but just kept it at 65 and focused on full ROM and isolating the biceps.

Pretty good, got 225 on lock outs. didn't feel like a house on the bar when it got to the catches this time...the last single had a really bad set up and i missed it but meh. did higher reps on skulls just for a change then finished with 2 heavy reps. never have done underhand grip with BB rows, felt alright...I'll keep my regular Rows though.

Good session, i was going to do a bunch of singles with 315 but just felt like adding some weight today. 330 was good, heavy but not too heavy. 335-340 next time.
