Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Legs, Calves Squats 245x6, 245x6, 245x6, 245x6 Leg Press 460x6, 460x6 SLDL 295x6, 295x6, 295x6 Seated Calf 145x6, 145x6 Smith Calf 315x6, 325x6, 335x6* (* 5 sec static hold) Workout- Not the best feeling in the gym today, but the weights went up almost across the board. X-Factor- Pumps are up again, lower back pump after SLDL was pretty bad, I had to stretch quite a bit afterwards. First time I've gotten a really good pump in my quads as well. DOMS is definitely beginning to scale up a little bit. Just having DOMS is a little odd for me, I rarely hurt anymore the next day, so I'm taking this as a sign that XF is starting to do its thing. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Nothing to report from the workout standpoint, rest day. I have that elusive headache again, and I seem to be getting sick. From reading other XF logs, it seems most people get sick around week 2-3 and some get the occasional headache. I, naturally, am getting both ![]() While my DOMS has been worse lately, it also seems to go away faster than normal. Lift monday, hurt tuesday, normal on wednesday etc. etc. *edit - Sleep is all or nothing lately, I either sleep like a rock or toss and turn all night. XF related? hard to tell... another week to go till fullblown XF effects are expected, fingers crossed:fingersxd Cya tomorrow |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | OVERLOAD! Chest, Shoulders, Tri's *rp = rest pause Incline DB 80x6, 75x7, 75x4~2~1*rp Decline DB 75x9, 75x7~4~3*rp DB Bench 75x6~4~2*rp Decline DB II 90x7 Military Press 105x5~2~1*rp Side Laterals 20x7~4~2*rp Rear Laterals 20x9~6~2*rp Skulls 105x7~3~2*rp Pushdowns 180x5~2~1*rp CG Bench 135x10~6~4*rp Weighted Dips +35x6, +35x3 Workout- First time dealing with rest-pause. Boy did it screw me up. I increased my DB weights because I thought it was time for that, which after 1 set to failure I knew was a mistake. From then on, all of my lifts dwindled slowly but surely. I couldnt press any more if my life depended on it, my triceps were toast and my delts were so-so. Strangely, I have NO DOMS from this at all, none. I'm weak today, I can tell that I worked my chest, but no DOMS whatsoever. X-Factor- I had been hoping to be one of those people that gets results in 2 weeks and grows from there, but it doesnt seem to be happening. I can tell that if yesterdays lifts didnt bring on some DOMS then XF is not kicking in yet. I'm hoping the 21 day loading phase is typical, I'll be pretty bummed if I'm a nonresponder. ![]() |

I wont be doing restpause sets any more, they just arent for me. I feel as though I wasted my entire day yesterday from this workout. Arrgh so frustrating  X-Factor Still waiting. DOMS non-existant, sleeping better, joint pain is up noticably, could be from heavy dumbells or XF, we'll see next week. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | Wats up man. The best advice I could give you is to keep trying out that routine. Or at least for a pre-set number of weeks. At least then you can tell yourself if that routine works for you or not. Do your best! Lookin good!
