I started squats again with a perpendicular smith machine. I set a small bench seat under my ass as a guide for depth and it looks like I am right a parallel. Seems to be more comfortable for me than atg squats. Squats hurt my knees less than anything else.

As for the rest of my training I have been following Charles Glass methods and I have to say I like the improvements it has made in my physique.

He's a smart dude.

nice, glad to see you are back to squatting dude. i have the same thing when squatting below parallel. i think my knees swell after a couple weeks of squatting so that's probably why below bothers me more than at.

Hello peeps,

I posted in here again because I am going to have some Prolotherapy treatments in a few weeks for my knees and elbows.

My left knee is now in constant pain and I can't do any quad work now.

Things aren't good right now.

I'm going to post my experiences during treatment and post my results. With an 80-90% success rate among patients I am very excited to give this a shot and if it's successful I will be a new man.

Okay, I went to see my new doctor yesterday morning. He's a D.O. American Osteopathic Association - What is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)

He actually performed manipulation like a chiropractor, but different than I've ever had done before. He said my pelvis, or hips, were way off. My left side was 1" lower than my right side as I stood with my back to him. He said that I don't have a scar tissue problem, or Chondromalacia patella, as I've been told by chiropractors for many years. He determined this by pressing straight down on my knee cap as I laid on my back. I had no pain. But when he pressed on both sides of my knee cap and moved it from side to side, that hurt. So he says I just have a weakened patella tendon that's inflamed and causing my pain. The pain is identical in the location for both knees, but the left is twice as bad in terms of the level of pain.

I scheduled to see him again next Tuesday and I think we'll end up starting the prolotherapy at that time. The injections are mostly made of concentrated dextrose and he has to take the needle all the way to the bone. I'm not looking forward to that.

Check back next week for another update on my progress.

Okay, just had my first prolotherapy treatment this morning on my left knee. Six shots total, and shot #3 really made me rise up off the table. That one really hurt. Almost instant inflammation caused by the shots, which is what it's supposed to do. So I hope this works.

More updates to come.

Damn Pman, this doesn't sound like fun at all. I'm sure once the treatment is finished it'll be all worth it though!
