Tonight's workout was a mix of good and bad for me. I was feeling really strong again, but both of my knees are getting worse and the pain is definitely holding me back. Oh, and get this, during my leg curls I suffered a minor strain in my right lat that also ran down into my tricep. It was obviously from pulling on the handles during the exercise to hold myself down on the bench. So that pissed me off. I am more and more convinced that the effect of the Epistane on my estrogen levels is negatively impacting my already tender joints. Oh well, that also means that when I come off of the Epistane my joints will likely return to normal and start feeling much better again.
I have had knee problems for years this helped to reduce the risk of injury and soreness. Before doing your workout did you ever try warming up on a stationary bike or something to that fact even a warm shower would do it. Doing these two things would get the blood flowing in your legs and loosen them up to help reduce soreness and injury occuring. Good Workout impressive squatting and leg pressing.

What was really cool is warming up on the stationary bike before the workout and sitting in the whirlpool afterwards it relaxed every single muscle. I miss that whirlpool.

Great power, intensity and focus again. I kept triceps lighter with higher reps to avoid inflamming my left elbow. I'm managing all of my problem joints as best I can. Superior tricep pump tonight. Chest also was pumped up nicely as well. I also did a bit more volume on chest tonight. I'll be attacking the 130lb DBs next week on inclines.

It is hard to keep up intensity and focus when you feel sick it runs down your body and drains you and is a distraction because you are not feeling well.
Impressive workout especially since you are not feeling well. I hope you feel better.

Lots of knee pain in both knees and my hips as well. I hadn't mentioned the hip thing until now, but for the last few weeks I've been getting intermittent sharp pains in one or both hips. It's a shame that my joint pain is preventing me from enjoying the same strength increases that I've had with my upper body.
