Rocky Start, Take 2. Since my last entry I had another medical problem. Terrible pain kicked in a couple weeks back. At was a Saturday and I was at work at the time. After it got pretty rough, I decided to go home early. While home it just got worse and worse... eventually I wasn't able to drive and my fiance' called an ambulance. Docs aren't sure what it was, thought it might have been Gall stones... WTF? Kidney stones THEN gall? Even assuming my diet and lifestyle brought both on me (which, I am sure they did) you GOT to figure this as shitty luck to have them both appear so close to one another... went to my GP and he wanted me to have my gallbladder removed. I wasn't so keen on that. I decided to sit and wait to see if it happens again, especially considering they really don't know what it was (Catscan didn't show stones but doc said it could be a crystalization thing or something - which would still require gallbladder removal). Last Saturday I did one of those gallstone removal things... where you sit down and drink olive oil and the next day you pass stones, or something. Sunday I crapped out a ton of little bright green stones.. none were too large but about 50-70 came out. I doubt this is the last of it, but for now maybe things are better.

This morning I was up at 6am. This happens time to time and usually I roll around and don't get back to sleep, anyway. I decided to just go in early. I liked it. Less idiots in the gym and they have a different muscial rotation. Normally it's bullshit love songs sung by soprano-voiced black dude... "Baby, baby, baby, wanna make luv to yoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoUuUuUu!". To think, they were actually playing ROCK AND ROLL! Not the greatest music or anything (still poppy B.S.) but at least everything was up-tempo. And, like I said, mostly the gym was full of 30-somethings akin to myself. Nobody in great shape, but no jackoffs trying to show off. I noticed mostly people cleaned up after themselves, re-racked weight, etc.. much better!

Although I haven't been in the gym much, I do own a treadmill at home and have been hitting it now and again.. not much though. Weight is down to 180 but my fat% has come down a bit as well. I'm not happy with the amount of muscle I've lost (I guess 3-4 lbs.) but my stomach is noticably down. 10 more pounds to go and hopefully with me in the gym it will be mostly fat.

I've also decided to change up my program while I cut. Even right before I took some time off, I didn't feel like my muscles and shape were fine tuned. I'm going to hit each muscle group twice a week. For now, light but as I increase in endurance/strenght upping the intensity.

Mon: Upper
Tue: Lower
Wed: Cardio
Thur: As Mon
Fri: As Tue
Sat: As Wed
Sun: Off

Today, I did this program with my upper body. Did 2 exercises for each muscle group. Chest/Back/Shld I did 3 sets each exercise. Bi/Tri/Forearm/Abs just two. Decent overal, skipped end of bicep and forearms, otherwise felt good considering the time I've been out. On Thursday, I'll hit the grous with different exercises.

Upper 1: (done this monday)
Lat pulldown, seated rows, Bench press, dumbell flys, Dumbell Military press, Shrugs, Tricep pulldown, machine press, Dumbell curls, narrow grip pulldown

Upper 2: (plan to do on Thursday)
Deadlifts, Incline, Decline, Milk-jug dumbell thing, reverse seated milk-jug dumbell thing, Narrow grip Bench, Skull crunch, preachers, etc..

Legs I'll just place more emphasis on day one on the quads and hams on day two. I'll hit calves each time.

Cardio: the usual. I don't feel up to HITT yet.

Thats all for now..
