Hip was hurting just walking up the hill... WTF? I try to barely use it. Gay. I should do calf work at least. Just thought about that. I'm dumb. -Shoulders were alright. I was a bit sore going into it (work + last week still) but i was alright. -Wanted to do core work but so many ppl in the gym, not a chance I could get on the decline situp bench / hyperextension thing without waiting hours for the "brahs" to leave. Weight was ~189

After I got back from the gym monday I didn't feel too good, then I began to run a fever, headache, etc... I felt like ass until about sunday, when I stepped on a massive nail at work that shot into my foot. So i've been gimping around and didn't wanna walk up to the gym monday (plus I didn't feel good at all) so that's why no workouts -I felt weak as hell at the gym. I struggled a little with the 60s on incline bench. I still don't feel 100%, but I'll get better soon hopefully. -Just weak all around. I also haven't had very much appetite, been eating 3 meals a day most. This is dumb, considering I'm sick, so I'm gonna try to do better so I get better. -Had to scatter stuff because the gym was so packed I was waiting FOREVER to get the equipment I wanted... gay ass people curling on the benches... -Workout sucked. Scale was broken at gym (probably just added fat)

I had streph pretty decent until Saturday. I'm still not 100%, but I'm almost there.... Just some pain in the morning/late night. Nothing some advil can't fix. Thursday was pretty bad. I didn't eat very many solids that day.... -Another drop in strength... Looks like I'll just have to try twice as hard. I'm almost done with my first semester of college, but I'm trying to land a job at a 24hr fitness center as a lifeguard (weekends only, year round) so I'll have a gym pass for the summer/break (working there). -Very upset about the drop of strength... I just went to the gym, showered, and went out and did stuff..... -Didn't even attempt squats, I'll have to next time.. Figured my hip still hurt because it felt funny, but you never know. I'll at least try them. I had to go real low on one of the hang cleans and it didn't hurt, but that was only with 135 pounds. -Rest of the workout was eh. Strength, as expected (couldn't find a gym I wanted to go to last week and had finals etc...) is down. WAYYY down on the military DB, but I gave all I had on the BB militaries. Oh well, such is life. Again, just gonna have to workout hard to try to get it back. -The gym I'm going to suck asshole. Real small, and the people in it grunt and scream like idiots (and they're not that big and the weight isn't that heavy). I'm cool with grunting and the occasional scream, but it better be under alot of weight, and occasional. -That's all I guess. Hopefully I can get at least 2 good weeks of working out in before I go on vacation (Costa Rica!)

Somewhat depressing, but I feel I'm pushing it and eats loads (too much, actually) so I should get some strength up. -Pretty much done as read. Took only about 40 minutes, most of my workouts do. I wanted to do more but I decided not to because I didn't wanna burn myself out. Lifting feels real good right now... Pretty much it, really need to find out my weight.

Christmas eve and all (with the gym being only open till 2 p.m.) it was real crowded and I didn't feel like waiting for another rack to open to do hang cleans, or for a decline bench to open up to do abs, so I just left. I did do some 315lb grip work, but it was horrible. -Strenght is still so far down =(. Maybe it'll get back up. I hate it. -Really grinded out the 8th rep of 115, which is disappointing.

Going to Costa Rica, and apparently where we're staying (2 places) have gyms, but who knows how good they are, or if the hotels have free internet + computers. I'll try to workout, but I know i'll eat like crap. Oh well. Weight was all the way up to 191 at the gym. Holy mother of fat gains from the holidays. Eh, oh well. I'm not morbidly obese, but i'm definitly getting fat. Plump from the holidays, so to say ahhaha. Oh well, I'm just enjoying it now before I go back to school, and before I go on my summer cut.

| IMPC Contestant | I'm in Costa Rica now, and enjoying myself alot. I've been eating loads, as buffets are the main thing here (we stayed at two resorts, I'm at the second now) and they are very expensive (26 dollars!) so I WILL get my moneys worth hahaha. Good thing I'm not cutting, but I am getting pretty fat. As far as lifting goes, I did a full body routine on a very crappy machine (maxed out bench press on it) sunday, and took monday off. Tuesday I did chest/triceps on mainly a machine with light dumbells but I was able to do: Flat bench (machine) incline bench (machine) shoulder press (machine) decline DB bench (50lbs - db, high reps), pushdowns (cable), french press (cable), overhead tricep extensions 1 armed (db), decline situps. So all in all, not that bad. Today I'm going to do back/biceps on the machine, with biceps being done mainly with db, and slightly a cable. The number of exercises is limited, but it is better than nothing, and maybe i'm gaining a little muscle, or at least I hope I am. On the vacation note, it's gorgeous here. Right now I'm in Costa Rica's rainforest. Our hotel is beautiful, as is the forest. I did a cable thing today where you have a pulley and you go flying down 500m long cables from perch to perch. Very very fun. The next two days, however, I think I'm just going to chill around the hotel and hot springs (ohhh forgot to mention that.... hot springs are goregous haha) and workout and eat and lounge like a lazy person. This week of workouts will look like this: Sunday - Full Upper body Tuesday - Chest/Triceps Wednesday - Back/Biceps Thursday - Shoulder/whatever Friday - Full Upper body Not only is there no lower body equipment aside from extensions and curls, my hips has been bugging me walking. Next week I go back to school and back into my normal routine, so Monday I will try squatting and leg pressing again. Idk if it'll go good, but I can always hope. If not I really should see a doc. That was long. I'm sure I'll be posting here again today with the afterworkout post. Have fun everybody (or anybody, no one reads this sh1t!)

Didn't hurt but was tight. My hamstrings/quads, however, cramped up HARD. I had barely eaten or drank anything the past two days, so that's probably why. -To make matters worse I might have pushed last week too hard (lifted 5 out of 7 days). I felt lethargic and powerless. -Between the two (and fearful of my hip) I ended both the leg and shoulder workout early. Hopefully this will help my recovery. Weight was 191 (too much holiday food)

First, I wanted to start with deadlifts then move to barbell row, but the gym was PACKED. ALL benches (well technically power racks but the only source of a barbell) were being worked in on (two guys to one bench). Instead, I started off with lat pulldowns -By the time I got to deadlifts (had to wait) my friend had showed up to play racquetball with. I rushed wayyyy to fast into a higher weight. Stupid me. First day back shoulda been slow. My back and hip WERE NOT feeling it. I lowered the weight, took my time, and worked up, but still felt weak. I guess I gotta get used to it. -I rushed thru biceps, and shoulda done another back exercise (all to play racquetball). By the time I was done, the courts were booked. Screw you baby jesus. Weight was 190.5 at the gym.

I actually like it tho, so i might stick with it. -Couldn't remember standing BB military press poundages, but I think those seem right. -Still so weak. Getting better tho. Weight was 196 at the gym!? wtf!?
