Well, I've been eating fairly well so far today. I woke up a bit later than normal, so my times of eating are off, but that's ok I'll live.

The only thing I wanted to say is that my legs are sore as all ****ing hell from yesterday morning's run...that should make doing legs interesting today

Well, even with my legs sore as hell, I still managed to put together a fairly decent workout.

Workout
Lat Pulldown
12x85
10x105
7x115 (-1)

1-Arm DB Rows
10x55
13x55 (+3)

Straight Bar Curl
10x70
9x70 (-1)

DB Curl
10x35
8x35 (-2)

Squats
12x250
8x300 (-2)
6x325 (-2)

Walking DB Lunges
10x30
10x30 (Even)

Leg Curls
10x130
11x130 (+1)

Calf Raises
10x220
11x220 (+1)

Comments: As I mentioned in my last post, my legs were sore and tight as hell. I really wasn't sure how squats were going to go. Before I got into my sets I warmed up first with the bar, then with 135, then with 225, and that really loosened them up a lot, and they felt good throughout the workout. Of course, they're sore as hell again but hey, what can ya do.

I'll put up my meals for the day before I go to bed. Tomorrow is our final morning running day, and it is hell day

Nice workout I bet your legs are even more drained after squating and doing lunges. Strong squats and exercise selection.

Thanks man...it's frustrating at times, because some of my teammates have shit form on their lifts, and their numbers are so much higher than mine...it drives me nuts, and I don't know how it makes me look to coach with numbers lower than them...but oh well, just keep on trucking, they'll regret it later when their bodies are destroyed.

Nutrition

Meal #1 (7:00 a.m.) - Woke up at 6:30 and couldn't fall back asleep, so I made up that tuna thing I was told about. Crackers, two eggs, one can of tuna cooked up. Great stuff. I then went back to bed.

Meal #2 (10:00 a.m.) - Scrambled eggs, three pieces of sausage, cup of 1% milk, one cup oatmeal

Meal #3 (1:00 p.m.) - 8 Grilled chicken tenders, salad, oatmeal, two cups 1% milk

Meal #4 (4:00 p.m.) - Pre-pre workout. Bagel, spaghetti, chicken wings, salad, two cups 1% milk.

Meal #5 (4:30 p.m.) - Pre-workout. Protein shake, granola bar.

Meal #6 (7:00 p.m.) - Postworkout protein shake + creatine, oats.

Meal #7 (8:30 p.m.) - Two bagels, three grilled fish filets, one cup cottage cheese, two cups 1% milk.

Meal #8 (10:30 p.m.) - 2 tbsp peanut butter, one scoop whey, one cup oatmeal.

No midnight snack tonight, I plan on getting a full night of sleep so I feel better for hell running tomorrow.

Any glaring changes need to be made?

Thanks!

Damn, I bet your legs are sore as all hell, bro... shit, man. Hittin' legs the day after doing a bunch of running. Looks like the running only had an effect on your squats. That's not bad at all, bro. That's some nice weight you're puttin' up on squats, IMO. I can't wait til' I get up to where I can do around that much.

Thanks guys.

And finally...as of 20 minutes ago...morning running has ended for the year. *Big sigh of relief*

Today we basically just played a Gladiator type of game where you had three volleyballs you had to get into a garbage can in thirty seconds, with a guy on defense who had a big pad. It was basically a brawl for the whole hour, so it was fun.

I do not know how these people bodies can not get destroyed with the aweful form they are using. For me I personally would rather have good form and significantly reduce the risk of injury than to be albe to brag I did this exercise but with horrible form and through a quarter range of motion. Just keep doing the exercises with good form and do not worry what other people are doing. You are showing intelligence and protecting your body with good form.

Looks good man. It's so damn hard to view logs with full workouts but it's nice to see people making progress and staying healthy, that's what it's all about.

Thanks Al...I feel for ya. I have a lot of respect for you still getting after what you can instead of just giving up on lifting through the injury...that takes balls.
