| Fast guy in training | The purpose of this is to list my stats for the various sports I am currently playing and also a work out log to go along with it, so without further waiting: Sunday- 1st game of softball for my college league team. Goal: To take back first place which we have had 2 of the last 3 years Game 1 ~ Went 0 for 1, walked twice. Should of been 1 for 1 but my first at bat I put one over the fence and the umpire called me out saying there is a zero home run rule, two innings later he comes over to tell us he was wrong and there is no limit and would start that rule next game Game 2 ~ Went 3 for 3 with a HR, in the park HR and a double Monday- I finally had my first work out in a while and I did take it a little easy because of that and I was a little sore from softball last night. Here's what it looked like: light jog for 5 minutes squat - 190x8, 225x6, 235x5 lying leg curls machine - Don't know what the weight was but did 3 sets of 8 single leg extentions - same as above seated calf raises - same as above but 3 sets of 12 jump squats - 2 sets of 135 then finished by jogging a mile. |

| Fast guy in training | Thursday: Did chest and tri's today, here's the low down: DB bench 55lbsx8 {2 sets} 60lbsx5 High cable flies{Standing} 3 sets of 50lbsx8 Low cable flies{standing} 3 sets of 30lbsx8 Skull crushers 3 sets of 30lbsx8 Straight bar cable extentions 3 sets of 80lbsx8 Finished with a 10min jog |

| Fast guy in training | Saturday: Had a softball tourney and played like absolute crap{Upper chest was hella sore from yesterday} Don't know what kind of numbers I had but they weren't the greatest ![]() |

| Fast guy in training | Sunday: Played in my College League games. Didn't play much in the field, pitched a few good innings{The knuckleball was sick } and played a little right field since chest was still hella sore. Batted 2 for 3 first game with 2 doubles, a fly out and a walkSecond game played a few innings in right, batted 2 for 3 again with a single, double and fly out. |

| Fast guy in training | Monday: Started with a 5 min cardio warmup Lat pulldown 3 sets of 140x8 Seated Row 3 sets of 130x8 Deadlifts: 135x8, 155x8, 225x8, 255x2{lost grip}re-racked and did another 4. Behind the back shrugs: 135x8, 185x6 Cut the workout short because I started feeling lightheaded after the last set of DL and the shrugs didn't help. But was hella pumped that I set a new PR on DL ![]() |

| Fast guy in training | Sorry for the break boys, had to take a break because of multiple reasons {sore rotator, MCL and now my gym officially closed so I'm looking for a new one} But for the time being I'll be hitting up the sprints, like today, and do some little stuff on my home gym. As for today it went a little something like this: Easy block starts ~ 4x30m 8x30m @90ish% with blocks 4x60m @70ish% with blocks finished with a nice 30min swim |

| Fast guy in training | Monday and Tuesday: All I worked on was coming out of blocks, didn't keep track how many I did for each day but enough to get me a little tired. I was going for 30-40m at anywhere from 70-100% Took Weds off to relax and rub my legs down Today I am heading to the great state of Indiana for this: http://www.track-soccer.iupui.edu/ne...asp?flash=true I'm going to do the 100, 200 and the 400 {Don't ask me why I'm doing a 400 because I still have no idea why either} I'll post results and maybe some pics when I get back tomorrow :bigthumbu |

| Fast guy in training | Here are the "unofficial" times from my meet. I say unoffical because they were hand timing us from a freaking press box! 200m - 25.9 100m - 12.38 As far as times they should be faster because we had one of the distance people hand time us as well {only he was standing at the finish line} and according to him the 200m times were .5 off and 100m were .3 plus we had about a 2-5mph headwind. Taking this all into consideration I should of had one of my pb in the 100m which would of rocked my socks because I felt like I wasn't running smoothly. I might be able to get a video of the 100m up here soon, but here is the times of everyone on the scoreboard: ![]() |
