( Although, I won't exactly be tearing up the weights )

Thanks Everyone....

Definitely good news today. It makes me feel a LOT better just to be able to get back in and start working something, and to know that things are healing up well! :bigthumbu

First post tear workout tonight!!!

Finally back in the gym after 7 long weeks off.

Legs:

5 Sets Seated Leg Press - 20 Reps, 10 reps, 10 reps, 10 reps, 10 reps

4 Sets Leg Extension - 15 reps, 10 reps, 10 reps, 10 reps

4 Sets Seated Leg Curl - 15 Reps, 10 reps, 10 reps, 10 reps

4 Sets Seated Calf Extensions - 10-15 reps per set on each

It was like a family reunion back in the gym.

At one point I had about 10 people gathered around, kneeling, sitting on benches, and leaning on equipment, listening to all the details of everything that happened. Everyone wanted to see the scar and hear about what I was going to have to from this point on, etc.

It felt great to see my "gym family" again. I sure am happy to be back in there training again, even if it is very limited duty right now.

thats grouse to hear man. I think it was the day you have been waiting for, but also all of us. Finally, our EME is back.

I guess the whole story telling was like when we all were in kindergarten (sp) when we all use to gather around the teacher who would read us The Three Bears.

Good to hear mate, keep it up, we are all with you on this

Awesome news EME, I bet it felt good to have some blood flow going on in there! I would think that would do nothing but speed up your recovery, (as long as you are careful of course). Have fun and stay safe!

Don't worry guys, I'll be careful.

I'm not going to do anything that is going to set me back.

I've even slept with my sling on for 6 weeks, as required.
I will not have the last 6 weeks be for nothing.

But, I am going to do what I can, now that I have been cleared for some limited training again.

The leg workout felt great and didn't stress my pec at all.

FYI... I'll be using about 5-8 lbs on the curls... and something similar on the press downs..... I won't be throwin down with regular training weights or anything.

But, I bet I still start regaining size on my arms, even from those light weights. Heck, I added 1/2 inch to my left arm in the last two weeks just by doing a curl motion and flexing at the top and bottom with NO weight at all! :dumbells:

Default New Pics 1/28/06

Here are a few new pics taken today.

Note the difference between the left and right sides - Delt, Entire Arm, and Pec.

I'm not actually flexing my pecs in any of these pics. Not quite ready for that yet. ( Although, I can "bounce" the left one again - what there is left of it to bounce anyway. )

Off to the gym in a few to do some limited arms and cardio for the first time in almost 7 weeks!

Wow, there really is quite a difference in each arm.

On the bright side, your calves still look great!

Thanks bro.... unfortunately my calves dissapear from the front view, but they are definitely getting better from the side and the back.

Yeah, my Left Arm and Delt especially have REALLY lost a lot of size, but I did my first arm workout today, so they will start coming back slowly.

Speaking of which, here was my workout today:

Bi's, Tri's, Cardio

Life Fitness Bicep Curl Machine - 5 Sets - 10 Reps
Cable Pressdowns - 5 Sets - 10-12 Reps

Treadmill - 15 degree incline - 15 minutes ( This made my chest feel a little sore, so I am going to have to slowly work up to more time. )

Thanks Van.

I feel good. It doesn't hurt at all. It's just very tight. I have very limited range of motion with my left arm. I can lift it up to about shoulder height to the front and to the side, but I can't even begin to lift it over my head.

That's what I'll be focusing on in Physical Therapy for the next 4 weeks, getting my range of motion back.

It hasn't really hurt since the first night when I tore it... that was very painful though!
