I guess since your muscle wasn't torn and only the tendon was damaged then that would be expected. Unfortunately for me since my pec muscle was torn it's always going to look different than my other pec. Which really sucks! ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 202 | So do you consider your pec to be back at 100%? I apologize if you've stated this already, but I'd just like to know if it "feels" 100% all of the time or not. Thanks bro! Lookin very solid too.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Hey Powerman, Unfortunately, no it's not anywhere near 100% yet. I still don't use more than 135 lbs on incline bench, and even then it hurts a little bit when I get up to about 8 or 10 reps. The muscle is strong enough now to do a lot more than that but the tendon fatiques quickly. I've actually benched 225 for one rep really easily but it gets sore when I do a lot of reps, even with a light weight. Some days I simply can't do Dumbbell Presses because it just hurts too much. I can usually tell on my first set if it's going to be one of those days. If so, I just stop and go on to something else. We changed to a new gym recently and they have a combo seated flye, rear delt machine that I really like. It's like doing a pec dec but with a grip and arm position like doing flyes with dumbbells. It's really been helping to loosen up the tendon. There are a lot of days where it's sore in the morning and I have to really stretch it to get it to feel better. So, I still have a long way to go to get to 100%, but aesthetically, it looks close now. I still don't have anywhere near the upper chest mass that I had before the tear though. It will come back though. I've only been doing incline presses again for the past 4-6 weeks. - EME Quote:

| Going Pro BBer in '08-'09 | You know what, EME... Myself, of the fugged-up left shoulder... I can't bench, and I have that same machine that you speak of and use it extensively. One thing that I have started doing is slow-motion presses. 135 on the flat bench is OK and also on the incline. But as soon as I start adding weight, I get a crazy pain in my shoulder. It will be so until I get it surgically repaired. So anyways, with a spotter I do 3 seconds down, 3 seconds up on flat and incline bench with just 135 and I can get a very good chest workout with very little stress on the joint. I figure your tendon might be OK with such a treatment, so it's something to look into IMO. Good progress bro.

I've seen plenty of others not so lucky. Your really thick now hey? Gonna be a much bigger package this next contest. Looking forward to the log. ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Hey Romanaz, DF and Powerman. Thanks! Yes, things are coming along pretty well, although some areas like arms and delts are still lagging behind the recovery process.. mostly because I still can't use the training weights or intensity that I used to. Overall I'm really pleased with the recovery so far though, and Yes my ortho surgeon did an awesome job with the surgery. Even the scar isn't very noticeable. I actually kind of like the scar. I consider it a battle scar. ![]() Thanks again for the nice comments. - Michael
