Hey bro...

Glad you finally decided to post.

datruodb is one of our good friends from here in Tulsa, and a fellow competitor.

But there's NO WAY he's beating me to 200... ( although he does have about 6 pounds on me right now )

By the way.......
I'm drinking my protein shake as I type this!! Better get to eating!

LOL.

I may be doing that too if necessary!

But, as long as things keep progressing like they are, I'll stick to one before bed and one first thing in the morning.

OK, cool.

I may do something with posting my training weights, but I'll probably just summarize as I hit milestones, or make significant progress with my training weights.

My pec has been acting up the last two chest workouts, and I haven't been able to really push my chest training to heavy weights. I still haven't gone above 225 for reps on Incline Bench.

I have ( what is probably ) the making of a pec tear in the same place on both pecs, from an injury I sustained back in 2003 going too heavy before I was ready again after my competition that year.

Occasionally, when I have to really contract hard to get a rep, I'll get a pain shooting through my pec that feels like a dagger being stabbed in there. I immediately have to stop the rep when that happens. It truly feels like my pec is going to snap away from the shoulder tie in, when I get that pain.

I got it last week on my last set of inclines, and this week my chest was extremely tight in the same area.

This is nothing new. I've been dealing with it for over 2 years, and it only happens occasionally. But, I will probably have to switch to dumbbells only for chest until it's back to full strength.

Also, I've changed my squat routine so that I will be doing 10 sets, starting with 10 reps on set 1, and then increasing the weight by 10lbs and dropping the target reps by 1 each set.

With this type of workout, my training weights will be reduced, but the overall intensity of my leg workout will be increased.

I will be doing deadlifts again, starting Saturday, so I could probably track those.

Anyway...maybe I can come up with something to track my lifts on a regular basis, but I'll definitely post updates to my overall progress at least weekly.

Well,

I'm taking in about 400g Protein, 400g carbs, and about 90-100g fat right now.
Closer to 4000 - 4100 calories.

I'm aftraid I'd get a little too thick in the mid-section if I was taking 5500. LOL

I'm already putting plenty on there as it is!
