Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | POWER WEEK - PULL (11/2/06) Rack Deadlifts (pull from knees) 135 x 5 185 x 5 185 x 5 185 x 5 185 x 6 205 x 3 Weighted Pullups (hammergrip) 10 x 4 20 x 3 20 x 3 DB Shrugs 70 x 6 80 x 5 grip was the biggest limiting factor here Horizontal Pullups 35 x 6 45 x 6 (plate on thighs) 45 x 6 (plate on chest) Hammer Curls (alternating) 40 x 4 (each side) 35 x 5 (each side) Workout felt good tonight. This guy overheard me saying I wanted to become a chiropractor and told me that he did too, and we got into a pretty lenghty conversation about chiropractic and anatomy. Looks like I made a new friend! He's also a great lifter, so I can probably get some good advice from him. |

Today's workout... simple yet effective. POWER WEEK - LEGS: 11/4/06 Squats 135 x 5 155 x 5 185 x 5 225 x 2 205 x 3 205 x 4 205 x 3 I hit a squat depth PR. I don't think I can physically go any lower than this. Leg Press 225 x 8 315 x 8 405 x 5 405 x 6 405 x 6 Squatting strength was down.... I think there's two reasons for this: 1) I was able to squat much lower today than I have in the past, so I suppose it's only natural that the weights must drop too, and 2) I took a deload week last week and then trained legs at the end of this week, so it's been 2 weeks since I've actually trained legs. | ||
