Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Alright so I've been gaining weight, and I thought most of it was muscle. And a great deal of it has to, tbqh. But I haven't noticing quite how much fat I've been gaining until I saw some photos my sis took of me. lol So I'm making a clean bulk diet for myself. I've just been going apeshit lately and just eating a gripload of food, and it's working, but I'm gaining too much fat for my liking. So here's what I have planned: Meal 1: Oats, 1 scoop whey Meal 2 (PWO): 2 scoops whey, .5 cup maltodextrin, malted milk powder (for flavor) Meal 3: 3 egg whites, 3 whole eggs (scrambled), 1 yam, 1 banana Meal 4: Bowl of granola cereal, 8 oz. milk, 1 cup cottage cheese Meal 5: 1 yam, 1 big serving of a meat product (steak, chicken, tuna, etc) Meal 6 (before bed): 1 cup cottage cheese, 3 scoops casien (when I get it) All of this will average: 2752 calories 299g protein (45%) 268g carbs (37%) 53g fat (18%) Calories are floating around maintainance, but I expect the amount of food I will be eating will be more than I entered them on fitday so it will most likely be more. Plus I'm still a newb, so I can blow up alright on low cals. Did it while cutting. Also, in order to ensure that I stay on this diet, I'm going to give myself 2 cheat meals each week, except I'm not letting myself eat them at any time that would greatly effect my strength/fat gain/performance, i.e. PWO, before bed, or first thing in the morrow. I know myself, and if I'm parted with my brownies or Reese's PB cups for too long I just go on the binge to end all binges. I'm not going to set any real order for the meals, except meal 1 will be upon walking, meal 2 will be after my workouts, and meal 6 will be before bed. The other ones are interchangeable. I will just eat them whenever as it doesn't really matter. Thoughts? Anyone know a good tasting, cheap casien product?

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Oh, forgot 2 things: 1) I'm also going to go to they gym Wednesdays and do my calves and abs (two parts I feel are very neglected) and also VERY low intensity cardio... nothing more than 15 min. walking on an inclined treadmill. Mainly for health reasons. Nothing too catabolic. I'm not worried about it stalling my strength, as I'm eating more than I usually do anyway. 2) What would you all say to me taking ZMA? I'm not really interested in it for the whole test-raising part of it (though it's a plus mos def). I'm more interested in the way it affects your sleep. I gather it makes you sleep "deeper?" I'm so fatigued lately. I'll sleep for like 10+ hours and wake up groggy and remain somewhat groggy the rest of the day. Maybe ZMA would help?

I get crazy dreams now and I sleep great. 10hrs sleep isto much thats why your tired. You probably wake up in the middle of a cycle of REM sleep.

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Yeah, I avoid my back rounding at all costs lol. I always keep it really tight and my abs flexed. My upper back rounds a bit, not much, but is that alright? It never hurts me and I've seen some pros doing it, mainly Konstantin Konstantinov. The guys upper back rounds like crazy when he pulls. There's some technique to it though.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | rounding your upper back IS technique. it reduces the distancethe bar has to travel. I do it all the time. Keep the lower back arched or neutral, and just try not to round it, but don't worry to much imo. Its better to worry about it on a squat more then on a deadlift. yeah i meant TP. I wouldn't suggest Vanilla, umm I would try one of the stronger ones like chocolate or fruit punch. Those are the strongest ones I've had.
