Normal breathing would be "inhale before you start to lower it, and breathe out at the bottom as you press up" power breathing would be "inhale when you pick the bar up, and then a bit more before you start to lower it, and then hold it until you finish the rep. "power" breathing can increase the pressure in your head aka broken blood vessels in your eyes, bloody noses and headaches.

It doesn't get hit much so that made me happy.

So I did a bunch of calisthenics to burn some cals and recoup the back. ATG Bodyweight Squats x50 BW Lunges x20 Burpees x10 w/ a few pushups mixed in Burpees x10 Step ups (about 15", not much) x150 Jack knives x10, last rep held for 45 seconds -back started feeling funny Jack knives x1 for 60 seconds, contracted extra hard (pain.) Lunges w/ huge footstool (light, but bulky, for balance) x20 Speed burpees x20 ATG BW Squats x20 I had to do something, so this was the best I could do. I focused more lower body, I'm doing shoulders/arms tomorrow in place of legs. My lower back isn't quite 100%.

Tried cross grip and it just felt akward. Awesome day today. Finally got some reps in for bench and my squat went up 20 lbs! I was worried when I coudln't get 215 the other day. ![]() It was cool. Lots of PRs.
