Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Friday, 3/7: Speed Deads and RE Bench Conventional Deads 135x3 135x3 225x2 225x2 225x2 225x2 Cardio: Running 1 lap around football field (kicked my ass) Flat Bench 185x9+1 assisted rep (PR+4 reps) - - - Blah day. I hadn't had any carbs that morning, so the fact that I almost got 185 10 times after running blew my mind. After 1 lap around the football field was too much for me and wheelbarrowing cement for an hour this weekend killed me, I'm quitting smoking and making a more conscious effort to improve my cardiovascular endurance. Not just for fat burning purposes but so that I can actually function when I need to bust my ass.

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Hey all, Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been REAAAAAALLLLY sick since Monday. I worked out Monday and just did box squats and cardio. I hit 300x1 on box squats and failed at 315. After that is when the sickness really seeped in. My throat was so sore I winced every time I swallowed my own spit. So obviously I haven't been eating enough until today. I've been on antibiotics since Tuesday though, so I'm feelin better. Thursday, 3/20: ME Upper Flat Bench 135x5 135x5 185x1 215x1 245x0 (got a little hasty) 235x0 (blah) Should have known that would happen since I starved myself this week. Rack Lockouts (7-8" ROM; all reps deloaded) 225x1 245x2 (PR+1 rep) 250x2 (PR+5 lbs and 1 rep) 260x2 (PR+15 lbs and 1 rep) 265x2 (PR+20 lbs and 1 rep) 275x1 (PR+30 lbs) 285x1 (PR+40 lbs) 300x0 (so close!) Speed Bench 135x3 Wasn't nearly fast enough, so I finished off with abs. - - - Lockout strength has increased a sh!t ton. I think I'm going to do these for another couple weeks then switch back to full ROM benching. Good day.

It sucks. Other than that, I'd say I'm fairly consistent in my training. Diet, on the other hand.... is a different story. Haha.
