There are just too many exercises to cram into one day. Alternating Dumbbell Hammer Curls 20sx16 25sx16 30sx12 Barbell Preacher Curl Bar x10 Bar+10x8 Bar+20x8 Bar+30x8 (last 3 reps assisted) Lat Pull Downs (pinkys out to end of bar) 90x10 100x10 110x10 <---PR 120x8 <---PR One Handed Dumbbell Rows 35x10 60x10 65x10 <---PR 70x10 <---PR Hammer Strength Machine Pullovers 50x10 100x10 120x10 140x8 Cable Wrist Curls 120x30x3 I hate curling more than anything. I'm determined to improve my bis though. The bars at LA Fitness are at least 10 pounds heavier than the bars at my school. I never used to have to start at 5 lbs on each side. All in all it was a good workout though. And my forearms were JACKED after the cable wrist curls.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | I found, for me, my biggest strength gains for deadlifts came when I was deadlifting HEAVY twice a week. I know, insane right? I must have done a month or longer of it, and I went from 345 to 385. What I did was, I did the same weight for my 1 working set, but earlier in the week, I did it for a single, then the next time I did it, I tried to double it. Honestly, after typing it and looking at it, I don't understand why it worked, probably because I just had a huge strength increase then from actually learning to squat properly. I say keep doing it, and keep on trying. I find, the only way for me to gain on the deadlift, is to honestly, deadlift, and deadlift HEAVY!

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Back today T-Bar Rows 45x10 90x10 100x10 90x10 Lat Pull Downs (plate loaded) 90x10 100x8 110x8 <---PR Deadlifts 205x5 215x5x3 <---PR 225x5 <---PR Shrug Bar Shrugs (weight is total weight of plates, I don't know how heavy the shrug bar is) 90x15 110x10 110x15, last rep held for 10 seconds Short but strong workout today. New PRs on deads, and on the plate loaded lat pull downs. On T-Bar Rows, I wanted to get the form down. I think I've been standing up too far, so I tried keeping my body parallel to the bar. Bell rang right as we were abotu to load some more plates on, so I just jumped back into the shrug bar and hammered out another set. This was a good workout though.

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | No weight lifting today, but I did some light cardio. Elliptical trainer for 7:30 minutes. I was abruptly interrupted by the manager of the store I applied at. I got the job, though. ![]() BUT OMG I want to cut calories sooooo badly. ![]() I just want to get cut... but I'm making gains so fast right now I don't want to stop... I've always been a fat kid. My entire life. Up until just recently I was a few pounds away from being obese. I weighed 235 and dropped down to 175 in a little over 8 months. Since then I've gained about 10 pounds, but ALOT of it has been muscle... I mean my bench has gone up 65 pounds and my squat has gone up 70 pounds since August. I'm at an acceptable weight for my age and height... but I just don't feel skinny. More than anything I want a nice six pack and that always seems soo far out of reach. I want to cut down some more... Just a little more would suffice. I don't even think I'm at 20% BF anymore, I've gained alot of muscle since that test was taken and my friends have told me that I look more toned than before. It's just that I have no definition at all, just when I flex you can start to see the muscle. I'm not big enough to wear cutting would have a real benefit on my physique, but I'm still a bit too chubby for my liking... I'm caught in a real pickle here. ![]()

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | cutting now will make all your gains in the future more apparent, as well as making it easier to cut in the future. Even though my main goal is strength, I'm going to be doing a few cuts this year (4 week super cuts). And I hear ya on the always been the fat kid. I'm down to ~200lbs from being 230, and I still call myself fat (I'm easily 23-24% BF still) but everyone tells me I'm not. Hell, I had this girl I was flirting with impressed with how firm my arms are, lol!

I went from XL shirts to mediums and 40W 30L pants to 33W 32L pants. This cutting debate is hard for me... I think that once I start getting paid I'm going to go apeshit and buy a bunch of clean food and try cutting mildly... I'd like to retain my gains as much as possible. We'll see how it goes down the road...

A few nice PRs, and I tried barbell incline for the first time. I like it a lot, I was kinda just getting a feel for it and what my weight should be on it. Same with the close grip. My tris are really tight right now. I liked the close grip incline a lot. I think I'm going to do pretty much everything 5x5 as long as I'm bulking except for my shoulders since they're slow-twitch... I like it so much more than a 3x10 set. I feel a lot stronger.

Feel nice and burnt. Threw in a lot of different exercises this time. The T-Bar rows with a Yates row grip felt really nice and heavy, and I could feel it in my bis and forearms as well. I like 5x5 a lot.

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Only enough time for squats today 195x5x1 200x5x1 205x5x3 <---PR!! That was awesome. My legs are so sore it's ridiculous. I went extra deep. I'm gonna start cutting my cals a little more though. I weighed myself at 191 today. **** THAT. I'm going to slash about 200 cals off my diet next week, and do that monthly, and I'm also gonna start doing some light cardio every day. I don't wanna completely shed off the fat, I wanna give myself some time so I can AT LEAST keep my lifts where they are. If I can get down to 175 with all of my lifts intact by summer I'll be happy. I'm gonna keep with the 5x5 though... I love it soo much I'm not really gonna go for density with a 10 or 12 rep scheme, I just wanna stay strong and lift heavy.
