ME Flat Bench 185x1 <---PR+5 lbs 190x1 (ASSISTED) 190x1 <---PR+10 lbs ![]() 170x2 160x3 Rack Lockouts (6" ROM) 245x1 <---PR 235x1 225x2 Push Press 115x5 120x5 <---PR+3 reps 125x3 (+2 failed reps)<---PR+1 rep Chest Supported T-Bar Rows 45x5 75x5 85x5 <---PR+10 lbs 100x5 <---PR+25 lbs 115x4 <---PR - - - Great workout. Pretty unconventional, I didn't stick to the full SHWSB template, but instead lowered the volume a bit and really hammered the areas that needed the most work. Kept my back nice and arched on the bench. I'm extremely happy with my 190x1 +10 lb PR, as the second time it went up pretty damn easy, and I had already hit failure 4 times before I did it, so my strength was dwindling greatly. Fresh I could smoke than shit. Lockouts were alright, I hit a PR but the rest of the sets were sub maximal. I expected so as my tris had taken a serious beating already. My rows have improved dramatically. I read an article by Dave Tate last night called "Eat My Meat" (lol) and he talked about rowing from your elbows, not your hands. I implemented this and you can see the results. All in all I was very happy with this workout. I'm going to deload all my lifts the rest of this week and then max out on the big three. Can't wait.

Sumo deads felt great, very smooth. I think the box squatting last week really helped my hip flexibility. I used my belt today just to get a feel for it and find out what setting feels best. Pretty much everything was submaximal today save for deads and chin ups. Sumo SLDLs felt great in the hams, felt them there pretty good. Chin up strength is so terrible. I think I'm done with pull downs. I'm just going to stick with BW pull ups/chin ups until I'm up to snuff, and then add weight. The only thing I might do is wide grip pull downs, as I still can't do a single wide grip pull up.

I'm not a fan of deloads lol. But they're a necessary evil I guess. Went really easy on my speed bench. Got a lot of puzzling looks when I only loaded up 95. Even more when I only started doing triples lol. On CGBP, felt like I could have gotten 135 10 times on all three sets, but decided to play it safe (no spotter) and take it easy. Shoulder strength has definitely gone down, I don't know how. I've put up 135 6 times before an now I doubt I could get it once. Meh. Rows were nice, felt really smooth.
