Hey,
I am completely new to bodybuilding, and have just started my new workout routine, as well as a 100% made-over diet.

I don't have current measurements or pictures, only the basics. I will try to get some measurements and pictures up very soon.

The plan is to bulk for the first 30 weeks, or until I gain 30 lbs of muscle, and then focus on cutting for the last 10 weeks. So, this whole journal will have a duration of 40 weeks or 280 days.

Here are my current stats:

Age: 14
Height: 5'9
Weight: 181 lbs
Bodyfat %: 18-19
Lean Mass: 150 lbs

And what I hope to achieve by the end of this program:

Age: 15
Height: 5'11
Weight: 190 lbs or more
Bodyfat %: 8
Lean Mass: 175 lbs or more

To achieve my goals, I will have to:

For the first 30 weeks: Gain 0.833 to 1 lb of muscle/week.

For the last 10 or more weeks (Depending on how fast I gain the muscle): Lose 1.5 to 2 lbs of fat/week.

This will be a tough goal to meet, but I am up for the challenge.

I will post my Workout Split, Diet, Journal Entry, Measurements etc. in the next little while.

FYI, Here is a picture of the body I am aiming for. Highly unlikely to look like this in 280 days, but a man can dream! Haha.

I'm not sure were you are starting from really but sure anything is possible. I need some abs like that.

Yeah. Like I said, I will try to get some stats and pictures up.

Just out of curiosity, how big do you think his arms are? It is kind of hard to tell, because I am not sure how tall he is, but some people here might know enough to make a good estimate.

My arms need the most work out of all bodyparts. Arms and delts.

I just wanted to run my diet over with you guys to see what you think or it. I have decided to start tomorrow, instead of today, because I need to go grocery shopping and have my diet and workouts planned before-hand. I am going to try and bulk as clean as possible.

Here goes nothing:

Meal One - 8:00 AM
-2/3 Cup Plain Oatmeal
-2 Whole Eggs
-1 Cup Skim Milk
-1 Medium-Sized Banana

Meal Two - 10:30 AM
-1 Can Water-Packed Light Tuna
-2 Cups Cooked Brown Rice
-3 Cups Romaine Lettuce w/ 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil and 2 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar

Meal Three - 1:30 PM
-1 Cup Cooked Chicken Breast
-1.5 Cups Steamed Yam
-2 Cups Steamed Broccoli

Meal Four (Pre-Workout) - 4:00 PM
-2/3 Cup Plain Oatmeal
-1 Can Water-Packed Light Tuna
-1 Large Apple

Meal Five (PWO) - 6:00 PM
-2 Scoops Gatorade Powder
-2 Scoops ON Chocolate-Mint Whey
-1 Cup Skim Milk

Meal Six (PPWO) - 7:00 PM
-1 Can Gold Seal Sockeye Salmon
-1 Cup Steamed Yam
-2 Cups Steamed Broccoli

Meal Seven (Bedtime Meal) - 10:00 PM
-1.5 Cups Cottage Cheese
-1 Tbsp. Almond Butter


Protein: 301 g
Carbohydrates: 431 g
Fat: 101 g
Calories: 3815

Calories Burned: 2768

Caloric Surplus Of: 1047 Calories/Day

Now rip my diet apart!!!
