I don't think it was, but I use a crosshand grip. Fingers are resting on top of the bar, elbows pointing to the roof, bar rests on front/side delt tie-in and the clavicle. I've tried using a clean grip (only when doing light sets) but I don't find it as comfortable as I lack the wrist flexability.

I had to stop after 2 sets of Tate presses because they had already removed the old DBs but not unpacked all of the new ones. A lot of time at the gym was wasted waiting for DBs and etc...*
