Default bigDman and Starman's Race to 2000

Okay here is the deal Starman and I are going to race to a 2000 big 3 total. This will be a little friendly competition and some motivation to us both. In this log we will post our PR's for the following 4 lifts
Bench Press
Deadlift
Squat
Clean

Since neither of us is close to 2000 and 2000 will take a long time. We are going to keep things interesting by holding mini races on our way to 2000

2000? Okay.... good luck. Most professionals take an entire career AND sickening genetics to reach that...

2000!

Whoa... my best total in competition for the big 3 was about 1260 @ 168 lbs..

Why not also have race to 1000... you guys could probably hit that by sometime next spring/summer.

That would make you a class one powerlifter. Few more 100 pounds and you could be elite. Wouldn't that look cool on your record?

Really?
I didn't really think those numbers were that great Peaked.

I did well in local meets, but I always thought the guys at the bigger meets were putting up a lot more than that.

At my best ever, my squat was usually around 420-430.. Deads around 455-475, and my bench was about 365.

Not really that fantastic.... but pretty good for someone about 170 lbs.

I don't go nearly that heavy now though.

( Sorry Big D and Starman... didn't mean to hijak you're thread )
