| is missing heavy pulls | 3 boards. Im going to try and hit it off 2 boards this week Today I was going to try conventional but i had a gut feeling telling me to stay sumo... I was right I had short time Deads 95x10 185x3 275x1 345x1 415x1 suit on straps up belt on 465x1 505x1 PR 525x1 PR big PR and still had some left in the tank... the pull was EASY... Squats suit on straps down 225x5 245x5 365x3 415x3 PR all really deep AMAZING day. I wish I had more time so I could have tried 505 squat and hit depth...

| Pro Stature | Hey man what do you do as far as grip work? and how often? I find that to be a really limiting factor in my DL right now and I wanna do away with it in the off season.

| is missing heavy pulls | right now I dont do much for my grip because it hasnt really been a limiting factor. That is because about a year ago a fell in love with grip training. And trained grip like 3 times a week there is a lot you can do for grip for improving deadlift grip I recommend Thick bar work. Any exercise can be done with a thick bar. If you dont have accesses to a thick bar wrap towels around the bar Towel Pullups are great for the grip you can do Double over hand barbell holds were you just lift it up a little and hold intil your grip goes out plate pinching is also great put two or more plates together smooth side out and pinch them together and see how long you can hold

| is missing heavy pulls | yea thick bar work is great. Use it on bench and it will make the regular bar feel like a twig. You can do your bent rows with it. doing thickbar holds kills the grip Also doing your speed pulls with a thick bar or just addding a couple sets of double overhand thickbar deadlifts at the end of the workout will really help a lot

| is missing heavy pulls | Thanks Going away for a week... wont be able to lift Bench 45x10 95x5 135x5 185x3 205x3 *shirt on* 225x3 touched all of them ![]() 245x3 255x3 265x3 PR 275x1 pretty big confidence booster. Much needed prolly could have gotten 275x3 if i was fresh but really didnt want to fail anything Close Grip Bench 165x10x3 Chins bw+35x5x3 Shoulder Rehab Stayed light for my shoulders sake messed around with some grippers closed hg300 and coc#2 almost got the #3 did some plate pinching got 2 25's and 4 10's I havnt done grip work in a while :-P
