March 3rd

Had yet another great practice

March 4th
i decided to be more detailed with what i do in practice
Today was freezing cold and i had a headach
Heres what we did
Ran 1/2 mile then we streched
then we did line drills and weaves(throwing and catching)
Then We practiced long throws and clears
We then did some 1 on 1's
Then we had a scrimage then we worked on odd man rushes and fast breaks

March 5th

Floor press 45x10 95x5 135x1 185x3 205x1 PR 185x5 PR
Bent Rows 185x5 PR 185x3
Bradford Press 100x10 PR 100x8

had to keep it short
the workout was great
i really like floor presses and bradford presses

heres the deit ive been following lately



Meal 1 (pre workout)
3 eggs
2 pieces of toast
3 cups of milk
Xtend
Vitamins (fish oil, multi, calcium)
738 cal 16 grams fat 93 grams carbs and 56 grams protein

Meal 2
Xtend
Protein shake
1-cup brown Rice
Anti oxidants (anti oxidant vitamin mix and green tea extract)

684 cal 4 grams of fat 95 grams carbs and 62 grams protein

Meal 3
1 apple
1 yogurt
1 turkey sandwich

1021 cal 22 grams of fat 136 grams of carbs 71 grams protein

Meal 4
Leftovers from Night before
For example
8 oz of steak
1 sweat potato
.5 cup of broccoli
2 cups milk

1078 cal 29 grams of fat 114 grams carbs 90 grams protein

Meal 5
Whatever is served
For example
1 cup pasta
1 chicken breast
1 cups spinach
Anti oxidant vitamin

989 cal 31 grams of fat 74 grams carbs 101 grams protein

Meal 6

Casein Shake

Speed bench is nice
Close gripps were hard the 135 was thjere because i didnt notice that someone took the wieghts off between my sets

Pendley rows are good the form was kinda sloppy so i dropped the wieght

Hey BigD. I don't know whether or not you already do these, but deadlifting off of plates is a great lift. Helps with explosiveness off the ground. I'm at 405 right now too (I'm 19 tho - lol) and these help me a lot.

yea my problem is off the ground

my current max effort exersize is snatch grip deads then after about 2 weeks ill switch up my max effort exersize to deadlifting off plates(2 inces of the ground)then two weeks later deadlifting 4 inches off the ground then iso deadlifts then regular deads then i think it will be time for contest prep were ill be doing ed coans deadlift routine

Watch out for the heights you use, getting off a higher box is always the best thing. If you have problems with keeping your back arched on the 2" I wouldn't even try the 4".

here was my workout today

deadlifts of 2 inch boxes 95x5 225x3 285x1 boxes slipped out form under me i fell and busted my toes
by the time i got everything toghter i lost all motivation to workout
ill be changing my routine to take out this exersize

hopfully i can have a MUCH better work out tommrow

Close grips were nice i worked on form and saw a big wieght jump
Bent rows went well

Machine preacher curls were a joke. I hate the machine i just did them to prove some kid wrong :p
