Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Starting the new batch from Anabolic X. First off let me say looking for great thngs, I believe this is going to be an awesome product. Ok, things are a bit different than the last time. I was working for strength gain mostly, doing a maintenance level diet of approximately 3K calories. My workout was along the lines of 5x5 for most compound lifts, with bb movements sprinkled in. I am now doing a cut, nice and slow for the summer. No show this year, our move is taking precedence over competition this year.:boink1: I am a huge fan of 50/20/30 macros, p/c/f for cutting, lowering calories sensibly while staying in this macro range. As many well know, hormones start to get whacky, namely test levels decline as you diet. I am a big believer that keeping my fat intake a bit higher helps alleviate this, and helps with leptin, etc. I am at 2400 calories right now, and progress has been marked and starting to become noticeable. I do always dread the mental aspect of strength dropoff, and this supplement should go a long ways towards keeping that high. Not too bad so far, but my normally weaker lifts, which come up last and thus are the first to drop off, have started to suffer a bit already. Namely inclines(which I will do today by the way). Not sure on how to take the supplement yet, so waiting back for a response I sent the company rep on protocol. My product came yesterday, here last night when I got home. I should note my current supplement regimine, basically nothing other than vitamins, minerals, and green tea. So, there should be absolutely no doubt about what is producing any "gains" I make with this product. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | My workouts are going something along these lines now, instead of as mentioned the 5x5's, I am doing a more hypertophic 8-10 rep scheme. 6 is my lowest number I shoot for. I have also cut down on my rest times. There are namely 3 ways you can advance in training. One of course is heavier weight, another is more reps with your maximum weights, and the third is cut down on rest times. The first 2 are normally not feasible with dieting, so I am working on cutting down my rest times. Also incorporating some drop sets, etc. This also research shows helps to boost test levels in the gym. Everything I do as far as cutting is hopefully to help keep test levels higher. I am incorporating a bit of cardio at this point, nothing really serious. Another believer in if you do too much cardio too soon, you have nowhere to turn but more calorie cuts. At some point this becomes unfeasible, and the body fights back negatively. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Yesterday I did not start the product yet, was unsure how to take it and am normally very anal about how supplements are done. I want to always get the most out of things, and so I follow directions to the letter, unless I am already familiar with a product and know that a change works better. So, today it will begin. Did a chest/ab workout yesterday, and it was decent. Felt pretty good, but there is no doubt my inclines are down considerably from my top weights. Hopefully one of the benefits of this HH will be to keep weights up a bit. I keep a log of all my workouts, and it is very hard on me to see my weights drop from the last workout. So, my goal of course is.... 1...keep strength up 2...continue dropping bodyfat with little to no lbm loss(isn't that what we all want! ) I have dropped bodyfat to single digits many times for contests, so I will be comparing this cut to them. I have always suffered some lbm loss, pretty inevetible being a natural athlete. It will be interesting to compare "outings" with this time. Don't have to get to low single digits this time, but still comparisons will be easily assumed from past experience. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 1....Saturday, 3/25/06 As far as workout, day one is in the books. Took my first dose with breakfast, hit the gym in about 70 minutes. Nothing to report of course as far as the supplement. It was however a good day. Really reduced my resting times fairly dramatically. Was in a "zone" today. Back and shoulders too, usually a tough day. Blew right through the back, slowed a bit on shoulders, but ended up strong. So, the bar is being set for the product...of course recorded the workout, so I will have nice written comparisons, and will post any profound differences in both as I proceed with the HH. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 2....Sunday, 3/26/06 Today is a day off, will do a bit of steady state cardio at no more than 60% VO2 max. Optimal fat burning in my opinion. I will add in more intense cardio later, but as of now, this is it. Can do this and watch the basketball games at the same time also! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 4....Tuesday, 3/28/06 Leg day today. The only adjective I can think of to use is I litereally blew through my workout today...very hard to do on leg day! Not sure what to credit for these workouts yet, but hopefully soon it will become apparent. Am loving the decreased workout times, this as I mentioned is great for test levels, and of course my cutting regimine. Starting to really take shape... As mentioned, I have done this numerous times for contests. I know the progression my body takes, shoulder area first, and now abs are starting to get the second split in separation between the center 2. This is a normal progression for me. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 5....Wednesday, 3/29/06 Hoping to keep up better with my log. Many things going on, moving out of state, getting things ready, posting resumes, etc. Today is a rest day, so very easy to post today. ***One note as to sides....not sure yet if I can blame the supplement, but have noticed the last couple nights not sleeping very soundly. Waking up quite often. Could be related to many things, just something to note and keep an eye on. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 6....Thursday, 3/30/06 Yesterday was chest day, and it was an "interesting" day. Something was different, not the same "intensity" as the last few days for some reason. Intensity may not be the right word, I was intense, but still lacked that "something". Not sure what was up. Anyway, dosing will continue as scheduled, looking for interesting/noticeable things to start happening soon. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 7....Saturday, 4/1/06 Well, first off I will note that I did not post for yesterday, plain and simple it was a rest day. Got absolutely no sleep, so decided it best to rest. today was basically the start of second cycle through this supplement. I started it with back/shoulders, and that is what today was. First I must note I got a couple samples of some 1NO2 in the mail, so I added a dose pre workout. I will note here I have never been a big fan of NO supps, but I did have them, and if I use them I think it is best to do so on days you work a muscle that is harder to pump. Back can be one of those, so today was the day. I was really moving through the beginning, I usually start out with wide grip chins with a decent rest period between. I rested maybe 30 seconds between sets today, and still got the same reps. The rest of the back workout was equally "quick", little rest, with little noticeable effect on normal strength levels. This in itself is interesting, as I am sure all know that decrease rest times, and strength normally suffers. So this aspect was interesting. Slowed down a bit toward the end of shoulders, really changed things up on them today, so it was a bit more difficult to guage, but still was a workout worthy of "the books". Happy so far, not anything really earth shattering, but nice. Looking forward to more of the same. Oh yeah, my cuts seem to be coming through really nicely. Took yesterday as a bit of carb up day, so this may have played a part in my day today also. Time will tell. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 8...Sunday, 4/2/06 I did arms today along with abs. A pretty standard day, again good intensity, normally heavy weights with short rest times. If this is the result of this supplement, and it doesn't get any better, I can actually live with this. I have dieted too many times, and usually stamina drops along with strength with lowered calories. I am finding my strength is holding firm, maybe even up a "tad", and able to significantly decrease my rest times. These are kind of the things that you say, hhhmmm to and not give much thought when doing a supplement. But, you learn to appreciate it when you stop the supplememt. Subtle can be very good when dieting. Have a feeling that if I were bulking, I would see significant increases in strength. Continuing on with proper doseage, tomorrow will be a rest day. I am going to attach a pic of me last May, this is close to what I am striving for again. Of course with a bit more lbm from this last bulk. I cropped the pic down pretty small, cutting off the legs even to try to fit it on another board in my log, and still couldn't. Hope it goes through here. ![]() Last edited by LFL : 04-02-2006 at 11:35 PM. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 10...4/4/06, Tuesday I am continued to be amazed at the stamina I have. Today was a leg day, and again, literally blew right through it. Very, very little rest time, no drop off in weight either. In fact, did prone hack squats for instance(do these now due to knee issues, and I can set it so I go no more than parallel), and go to the whole stack. This is after all other leg work, very last thing I do, so I should be worn out. I felt like I could have easily added much more if it was available. I am feeling like strength would have been way up, and again, rest times are very much dramatically shorter. This would be great bulking stuff! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 11....4/5/06, Wednesday Took yesterday off, usually always take a day off after legs. Nice rest, had some personal business to take care of also. No sides other than again, kind of restless sleep, waking up much earlier. In fact, woke up this morning simply famished. Always eat before bed, it was interesting. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 12.....4/6/06, Thursday Kind of a hard day to get a read on. My strength was down a bit on flat dumbbells, did the 100's for my first working set for 9, could have done 10. But then did 110's, and could only do 4! So I dropped back to hundreds again. But then again, did declines second instead of inclines, and was naturally a bit stronger due to this change on them. Now, here is the "odd" part. I expected to be really weak on inclines due to them being my worst exercise anyway, and doing them last instead of second. But, was in fact stronger on them from last week! So, don't know what to think...as mentioned, it was an interesting day...but it is in the books and I will take it! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 13....4/5/06....Friday Well, another day I can only submit as interesting. I went through the workout very well, strength was up to par, not above normal, but for the calories I have been keeping(average of 75-100 gr. of carbs, thus glycogen is suffering), I am quite amazed at this. My intensity is still very high, and after a tough chest workout yesterday, was surprised at my workout today...shoulders and back. Shoulder strength seemed to be down a bit, but I was very focused and had a monstrous pump going on. For those wondering, I have not updated my other supplement useage, and for good reason. I continue to use only the HH and 6-MU(and this only pre workout). Later I will post my current diet, I may do a carb up day this weekend(a bit of a cheat). There is both good and bad with being able to be strict about a diet...the good is obvious, but the bad is getting it in your head to actually cheat, which really is necessary. But the mentality is to stay strict...actually, the leaner you get, it is better to cheat a bit more often. The main issue being leptin. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 14....4/8/06...Saturday Today is a day of rest....may do a bit of cardio later if I feel "energetic" (read bored now that basketball is over ) So, not much new on the supplement outlook.... This relates to what must be interpreted as no side effects whatsoever. Every bit of this products effects seem to be gym focused. The sleep issues continue mildly, but this I cannot attribute directly to the HH...as I have so very much on my mind with the move and all. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 15....4/9/06....Sunday Well, not a very eventful day. Did arms and abs today. Not really much to report. Things seem to be pretty well leveled off. Taking a good up calorie day today....abs are really very strong now in the morning, all "squares" showing very strong. Felt a bit "down", thus the high calorie day. Actually feel a bit better already. Had some Applebee's garlic mashed potatos for starters. Those things are killer! I am going to play tomorrow kind of by ear. I may take the day totally off, right now kind of feel like it may be best. No cardio, no anything. Then again if I feel like it, I may do some light active recovery cardio. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 16....Monday....4/10/06 Today will be a day off as mentioned. But wanted to make a post that directly addresses my feelings/thoughts so far(2 weeks in). I took pictures the first day starting this "cycle", but did not post them due to not being very happy with the way I looked. I will however at the end of this log post them so I will have before and after. They will be time stamped to verify. Anyway, the difference is already pretty remarkable. My love handles for instance have shrank almost to the point of nothing. Even my wife has commented a few times on the difference being pretty stark. While at the same time, seems to be no muscle loss I can visualize. My strength has held nicely, (hasn't gone up, but hasn't dropped either). This is another huge + for things so far, as I have made a couple more calorie cuts, while maintaining a 50/20/30 p/c/f macro, so calories are down fairly significantly from beginning. So my 2+ week assessment is very positive. Absolutely no side effects of any kind either. As bodybuilders we always want more, but being realistic, if I had thought this kind of progress would have been possible before I started, I would have jumped on this stuff. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 17...Tuesday....4/11/06 Tuesday was leg day as mentioned. Got to say it was amazing the way I just tore through it. I mean, little rest time between sets, from beginning to end. Part was attitude, felt good about the cut and the measurement. I also took another 1NO serving pre workout. Legs felt good. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 18...Wednesday....4/12/06 Well, a bit different today. Normally I take a day off after legs, but for some inexplicable reason I decided to go in and do chest. Felt a bit tired to begin with, but today(Thursday) is a day off from work...early holiday for us paid. Anyway, I wanted today to be totally off. Thus the workout yesterday. The combination of being a bit tired, and the leg workout I had the day before, and my strength and stamina were noticeably down. Looking back on paper(I record all my workouts), weights weren't really very far off, just felt like it. [we are so much our own worst critics] Energy on the other hand was not at a premium to say the least. But I got through it, rest today, and hit it tomorrow. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Day 20....Friday....4/14/06 Great start to today. Walk in the gym, give my card to the hot 20 something girl behind the counter, and she checks, says have a nice workout Ron. As I then start walking, she says, "got to tell you, you have a fantastic body! You are really buff." Any better feeling than that? Anyway, had a great workout. Did Shoulders/biceps today. Very nice shoulder pump, did not overdo things, kept it down to 10 total sets for shoulders, and 7 for biceps. All clean, heavy reps. Walked out of the gym feeling pretty good. |
