Felt wonderful... 405 went up nice and easy, solid form, could've doubled it, maybe even ground out a triple, but I opted to keep it at a single and go for 3x bodyweight.

Yeah, I can't do regular deads right now cause I bruised my tailbone... too much pressure in that down low position isn't working for me right now, so rack pulls it is for me! I like em better anyways

if you're gonna start doing rack pulls, do them from a low pin. High rack pulls are more of a lockout-specific/ yoke building exercise.

They are one of the BEST yoke builders out there. Hands down.

Yoke as in upper back? as in building meat up there to rest a bar on for squats? I like....

I was going to a gym for a bit that's lowest pin was at the top of my knee, so I started doing those. Been switching off between low pin rack pulls and high pin rack pulls for a few weeks now.

Top of the knee isn't really that high, it's probably on par with doing sumo pulls around knee height. Any higher on a conventional stance than the knees and you're wasting time/doing grip work.

I dislike rack pulling from too low, it puts me in an akward position I find.

Akward as in potentially dangerous, or at least it feels like it, especially if doing heavy singles. It would probably be best to stick with high rep work from that height I guess.

I hit 225 again today... matches all time PR... and I hit it as a working set. I'd say I'm good for 235 fresh.
