Even though I have a lot of years in lifting, I've never been that strong, mainly due to fighting hypothyroidism, low testosterone, and hypopituitarism (low gh). I'm on replacements now.

I've been doing Max-OT for a couple of weeks now, and right from the start it helped me hit some PRs I hadn't hit in a long time (before getting sick ).

Now don't laugh...

Bench... 3 sets 205x6.
Deads and squat (they always run parallel)... 3 sets 275x6.

My goal is to increase my bench to 3 sets 225x6, and deads and squat 3 sets 315x6 to start.

Last week I was able to do incline dumbell press with 85lbs dumbells for 10 reps. I was so happy :P

And one time I squatted 235x5 but I have been doing higher reps lately

My max flat bench press used to be 80 lbs. (lol...), and a month and half later I got it up to 140, so that's nice to see improvement.

Smokin! :ranch:

You'd better make that lift.

I pulled 545 last Nov. and I'm gonna do more than that this year.

You can't let an old man like me out DL you.

Pretty damn good for someone who says that he has no chest.

Yeah it was the highlight of my 'weight lifting career' thus far. I'll be starting the controlled labs stack soon, so I'm hoping I can get up to the 90s 10x3 by the end of october

Thanks!

"Everyone" else lifts a hell of a lot more than me (both on the boards and at my gym) so I'm usually pretty shy about saying what I'm lifting. :shifty:

haha, you got that right I am pretty confident that I will nail it. 530x2 went up pretty smoothly today.

BTW, what was your weight at for that 545 pull?

I realize we are all from different backgrounds. For me my bests happened this spring right after my 48th birthday. ( I do not know how I got this old). At any rate I was a stickboy growing up and weighed only 130 lbs at 21 years old. I remember being to intimidated at the college I was attending to even take the beginning weightlifting class. And one last one I remember thinking I would feel like I had arrived when I got to the point of using the 45lb plates.

Ok so with all that here goes.

Max bench was 265
Incline 225
Decline press using 100 lb bellls
squats at 315
deadlifts at 315

Best part for me is these all happened within the last 12 months
