Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | The PT at my school weights asked me if I wanted to do "circuit training." Normally I would've said to him "**** no!" But since he asked me during my workout, while I was resting between sets, the time where I normally zone out, I said "yeah wateva sign me up" I must have been delirious or something... :o He claimed to me it builds muscle and fitness, and is good for sports and kept trying to say. I can't believe I even let him get this far. If it does this how comes I've never heard of it on the boards and no notable member has ever recommended it... My guess is that it's some bullshit training where you use light weights for high reps with lots of supersetting and shit...Cos that's what these guys make most guys who ask for programs do... Am I right? |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 203 | Circuit training has been around for a long time. When I was in high school and played football, we would do circuit training in our gym. The coaches would set up exercise stations and we would do as many reps at each station for 30 seconds and they would control the flow by blowing a whistle to get us to move from station to station with no rest in between. Its actually pretty tough and very intense. Very aerobic!
