Default What Do You Think Of This Bench?

I'm starting a home gym and this is the 1st thing I've bought. How does it look?

Kind of depends on what you paid for it and how much weight you plan on throwing on it. The leg extentions usually always suck. And the uprights for the bench aren't reinforced so don't expect to throw 400+ pounds on it safely.

I think the guys are being a little harsh. It's a decent beginner/intermediate bench, if your still young and not that strong yet it will do nicely.

haha nicely sugarcoated indeed.
If you didn't pay alot for it its alright to start just like df stated. I strongly agree with the powerrack and tons o' weights with a heavy duty multi purpose bench.

Just depends on the results you are trying to obtain. For years I had a shitty 1970's bench that I trained on in my basement and got strong as an ox, but didn't have other exercises that I needed to take my body to another level.

Wow, I wouldn't go that far with a bowflex. I had a bowflex once, tried it for the two week trial period and sent that baby back.

For a beginner that is good, but for more experienced guys that's junk.

As romanaz said, power rack/squat rack, adjustable bench, free weights.
