Lightbulb Weak wrist ?

When i was 15 i fell backwards and bent a plate in my wrist, i had surgery (doctor just straigtened the bone, but didnt open my wrist up) but i was under anesthetic. But whenever i lift heavy i can feel it exactly where the injury was a few years ago, and it hurts and feels weak like it could break at any moment. I have really skinny wrists as well which i know i can't change, any ideas how to overcome this ?? I also want to take up boxing and i know this will damage my wrists more, im thinking of wrapping them up properly with a band, any ideas how to fix this shit

Pushups on fingertips and knuckles.

I'm not positive on fingertip pushups but on knuckles they'll give you a stronger wrist. Don't go a lot at first, because you need to get used to them, but they will definately give you a big increase in wrist strength.

Wrists wraps and straps... I know this is a quick fix, but they do work. I bench press a lot more with wrist wraps on than not. But you should always work to get them stronger... Can help you a lot in many exercises.

I would kind of put of boxing for awhile, until you strengthen your wrists. Being as how I just got out of physical therapy for my wrists I'm pretty knowledgable on the subject. Start doing fingertip wall push ups, and do forearm curls one with your palms down and one way with your palms up. You'll also want to heat your wrists before you lift, and start doing some wrist stretches like this: http://www.bodyresults.com/_iexer/WRIST1.gif
Then do the exact opposite of that so your knuckles are against eachother, seeing as how I can't find another pic to show you.

I broke my wrist snowboarding, and even though it is "healed" it still hurts like hell when I lift. You should just find what you can and can't do. I have found that I have to do hammer curls when I get past 40 lbs, and that I can NOT do BB curls. Also, rows have to be executed carefully. Just try and keep the joint as straight as possible when lifting.
