The book has lots of more info on diet, nutrition, and lots of pics on the big lifts. The routine claims to add 40-60 pounds in 6 months time for beginners. The program: You alternate Workout A and Workout B every other day, 3 times a week. Example: Week 1: Monday - Workout A Wednesday -Workout B Friday - Workout A Week 2: Monday - Workout B Wednesday - Workout A Friday - Workout B Note: This doesn’t include warm-up sets Workout A 3x5 Squat 3x5 Bench Press 1x5 Deadlift Workout B 3x5 Squat 3x5 Standing military press 3x5 Pendlay or Bent Rows (or power cleans) Power cleans are recommended if you know how to do them. -Enjoy |
