Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | About 3 months ago I took a break from training. I started training again at the start of this of week. This week I was mainly looking at my maxes and working on technique. I've noticed I have horrible squat and deadlift technique and have tried various ideas people have given me to correct this, but as soon as I add weight to the bar (not even significant weight) my technique goes away. Although squats and deadlifts are essential lifts are they substitutable? Hack squat I can perform. Also would HST be a appropriate for starting my training again? |

there are really no subs for these lifts. My squat form took almost a year to get down.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 127 | As long as you don't have an injury that prevents you from doing these movements, you should definitely learn them. You can work the same bodyparts with other exercises, but these 2 are prominent for a reason. Keep working on that form, and if you need some help, go here: NSCA Video Library Presented by Dartfish another bit of squat help |
