Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | I've only read a tiny bit about it and I have never used it.... I can't say anything bad or good about it - my opinion is neutral. I haven't really seen this site as anti-HST, but perhaps I missed out on some threads/posts. If you try it out, let us know how it works for you. ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | I would love to but the search function won't find "HST" and it would be too hard for me to go back and find the posts. I have been a member of this site for a while now and I mostly see people frowning on HST. Sorry can't think of any specific examples right now. Brian |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 115 | you may be thinking of HIT, not HST. I've done HST, wasn't impressed, but I could have done it longer. HIT isn't particularly popular on this site. The name, in itself, is kind of a turn off.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 202 | IMO, HST does not allow for enough volume to actually cause measurable hypertrophy. Not a single well known strength or training coach advocates using HST. I'm sure it would produce results for a beginner, but it is far from being the optimal protocol available. Full body workouts won't make anyone an advanced lifter.

iB::Topic::Are you experiencing Gains with HST? Another 23% are still seeing gains just not large ones. Two of my friends have been training with this program for some time now and both of them are animals, i.e. 190 and 210lbs with less than 5% body fat. | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | No need to be smart ass about it. I was certainly not claiming that is the best out there and that anyone not doing it is wrong. I was simply stating that it is working for a large majority of those doing the program. Brian |
