Default Outter Bi's

I know doing hammer curls works the outter bi's but i am curious if pivoting the elbow a bit and moving it across the chest works the outter bi more than just bring it straight up and down? after looking into it a bit i'm assuming it doesnt matter but just want to confirm

close grip hits outer bis, wide grip hits inner bis...

hammer curls done the way you discribed will involve outer bis beter than doing hammer curls the regular way, but they also heavily involve your forearms.

Close grip curls will hit your outter biceps better..
