Default HST + 20 Rep Squats?!?!

It would be an ordinary HST program but instead of following the rep scheme for squats you just do 20 rep squats 3 times a week and add 5 lbs every week. Any reason why this would not be better?

I am on HST (LOVE THIS SH**!!!), and I have a separate leg day. It is my lagging bodypart, and I cannot get a good response without higher volume. So if you ask me... instead of a 20-rep squat program, do the same with leg presses. This involves less recruitment from your back, and will save it for say.... SLDL or standard DLs. It "isolates your legs," even though leg pressing is still a major compound movement. On one of ur off days, just go to the gym, do 3 sets of 20 reps (obviously with the weight for 10, as we all know that is what makes them so harcore), and leave.

Side note: HST has given me this glow that I have never experienced.... I can almost feel my muscles growing at this temporarily higher rep range.

Don't forget your multi
