Default Is This A Good Way Of Training?

I have 2 routines and I stay on each 1 for 8 weeks. That's 16 weeks altogether. Is the following a good idea to stop myself from hitting a plateau:

I do 16 weeks worth of 6 reps on everything and then I take a 1 week break. I then do another 16 weeks worth of 10 reps on everything and take another 1 week break. Then I start over again with 6 reps.

Now Ask Yourself... Which Mouse Are YOU?

It's definately better than not switching routines. Take a look at the periodization stickies.

I agree, once I find a routine I like and works for me I stick with it. If I start to plateau, I switch in a new exercise. Every week is a fight to keep the weights going up so I can keep exercises I like

If I were you I would change reps every 2-3 weeks. In my opinion it would be better. It's up to you. Also change up the way you start your routine. For example: if you normally start with bench then do chest press, switch it up.Start with something else.It has helped me through plateaus.
