Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 496 | why do you do them? i'm not questioning your exercise selection, just curious why YOU do them. Maybe that will help you straighten things out. They are a great exercise. I have some insight into the pullover, but I'm going to wait to give it all to you.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Well i mainly do them becuase i'm limited as to what i can do with a barbell and dumbells at home for my back, so i do them for my back, but i do feel the pullovers working my chest when i do them, so i was just curious if it was safe to do them after your chest day? |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 392 | The biggest gains I ever made in my life on the bench press was after I added DB pullovers to my workouts. I did them on chest day.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 496 | pullovers are similar to the deadlift, squat and bench. Yes... I'm putting my head out there... but like those exercises, pullovers are not easily catagorized into one body part. Of course, the pullover has both a pulling and pushing component throughout it's full ROM, but while the deadlift and squat train your back... they are not back exercises. They both also train your legs.... but they are not leg exercises either. It's a great exercise, which, like all other great exercises, if progressed over time, will increase your size. Where it helps you the most depends on your build, leverage points, strengths and weaknesses. At a bare minimum, like PMan said above, they are a great stretching move, and can even be used as an abdominal exercise.
