Depends on the illness. Your immune functions are reduced from working out so it can increase your illness and recovery time. I usually take some time off to recover.

i've never been sick.

just stack glutamin, dextrose and protein powder when you get sick. That should heal you up nice.

Don't train unless it's just a cold.

I don't train when sick. I'd rather get better than let myself get more run down.

yup, yup .... I just stay in bed and load up on liquids (water, OJ, sip Xtend, protein shakes) .... usually if I try to train again too early, I'll just get worse and need more time off

I generally don't workout when I'm sick. I rest and watch DVDs for the most part.

I just train anyways, unless its like, explosive diariah (sp?), then lifting kinda goes out the window, along with everything else, lol.

I usually stop.. because if I continue.. I end up getting worse... so I will rest a few days.. and start back up..

And just because you rest when you are sick.. does not mean you are being a girl... that is silly... some people dont want to get worse.. so they dont train while sick.. just how it is...
