Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 95 | whenever i switch to a different grip for bench, i am stronger and feels more comfortable. but after say a month or two, it starts feeling foreign and now that i remember this isnt the first time its happened. I remember i switched from wide grip to about medium grip and i was getting stronger and felt better. but after a while, i was getting weaker and switched back to wide grip and that felt better and i was pressing more numbers. WTF

Sounds strange. I've never had that problem, or even heard of it. Maybe once you get comfortable with a certain grip, you start to relax too much, and lose focus. | |

| is missing heavy pulls | do you just platue or do you get weaker. Change is the key to constant strength gain. I know me and a lot of other powerlifters have a main grip which is their strongest, but they train atleast 3-4 other grips to change things up |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | sounds like you respond well to conjugation, and are over-training a bit simultaneously. I'm probably wrong, but that's just what it seems like. Example: Training close grip, you overtrain your tris. When you switch you given them a break to recover, and use less trained muscles. The same issue occurs again, and you switch. You see what i'm saying? There is a reason the guys at westside switch every 2-4 weeks. You can train a muscle very hard sometimes, even if it isn't the primary one being trained. I'm not saying you're "overtraining" in the classic sense, but instead, not giving things enough time to recover to 100%.
