Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Hey guys, I'm doing a log on SNS CVM. This is the first time I have used the new formula of CVM but I have used a ton of SNS products in the past and have yet to be let down...so on with the log! Some background info, I started this log some time ago but due to some family emergencies I had to take a week or so off from training. I'm just starting back now. I'll be running the log until my tub is empty. I'll take my measurements tonight to post for comparison. My goals are to thin out a little bit while building muscle mass. I realize this is a daunting task but I'm cleaning up my diet and expect to see some nice changes. I'm eating in the area of 3000 calories with 45% protein, 35%carbs, 20% fats. I'll be posting my caloric intake for each day when I can. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | March 10th Bis and Tris Preacher Curls - 75lbs X12 (warmup) ____________ - 115lbs X6, X5, X4 Standing EZ Bar Curls - 95lbs X4, X4 __________________ - 75lbs X10 Rope Hammer-Style Cable Curls - 60lbs X8, X7 "Arnold" Concentration Curls - 30lbs X10, X10 Close Grip Bench - 135lbs X12 (warmup) ______________ - 225lbs X7, X5, X5 Standing Barbel Tri Extensions - 85lbs X9, X7 Dips - BW + 45lbs X7, X6 ___ - BW X9 1 Arm Pushdowns - 30lbs X10 _______________ - 35lbs X6 The CVM is causing quite a bit of change in vascularity. The veins on my bis were bubbling up a little which never ever happens. Thanks to moms genetics, even at very low bf% my veins never really bulge out. This is definitely causing them to be more noticeable. --------------------------------------------------------------------- March 11 Chest Flat Barbell Bench - 135lbs X12 (warmup) _______________ - 275lbs X6, X5 _______________ - 225lbs X7 Incline DB Bench - 95lbs X5, X6, X5 (weird, I know) Hammer Strength Bench Machine - 230lbs X6, X5 Incline Hammer Strength Bench - 270lbs X4 __________________________ - 180lbs X8 Cable Flies - 60lbs/side X12 _________ - 70lbs/side X10 After the gym I went to the shower room....I went about my business in a hurry to get to work. I got undressed and wrapped my towel around myself for the walk to the showers. I'm almost there when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror....WOW! My chest was so pumped up, it looked twice as big as normal. The veins in my delt/axilliary area are peeking out from under my skin. I'm very impressed, and still have some of my pump over an hour later at work. ------------------------------------------------------------------ March 12th Back Deadlifts - 135lbs X10 (warmup) _______ - 225lbs X6 (warmup) _______ - 315lbs X9 _______ - 345lbs X7 _______ - 365lbs X5 Pullups - X6, X5, X4 Close Grip Pulldowns - 150lbs X10, X10, X9 Low Pulley Rows - 180lbs X6, X6 _____________ - 130lbs X10 Hammer Strength Iso-Rows - 165lbs X8, X7 Great day. I would have liked to get more pullups, but I'm heavier now than in the past. I weighed in today at 226lbs. I'm at an estimated 17%bf. Again, at the end of my workout my back looked chizzled. I'm very happy with my results so far and I'm hoping they keep coming strong. I apologize for the delay in my log. I'm on spring break and don't have access to a reliable computer at my house. I keep a detailed journal every day at the gym with weights, reps and notes, so you're still getting it all it just might take a while ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------- March 14th Delts, Traps, Calves Lateral DB Raises - 15lbs X15 (w/u) ______________ - 30lbs X12, X10 Standing Barbell Military - 95lbs X10 (w/u) ____________________ - 135lbs X7, X6, X8 Hammer Strength Shrugs - 120lbs X15 (w/u) _____________________ - 360lbs X10, X8 _____________________ - 270lbs X15 Barbell Upright Rows - 95lbs X12, X10 Standing Calf extensions Station - 50% of stack X13 (w/u) ___________________________ - 50% of stack X25 ___________________________ - 100% of stack X20, X20 Pretty good day in the gym. This is the first time I've tried to pre-exhaust my delts and I'll probably continue it for a few weeks. The reason for my jump in reps in standing military on the last set is that, for some reason, I was holding the bar entirely too close for the first two sets. For calves I normally use the leg press, but it was taken and I was in a rush so I used a calf extension machine. The lbs per plate are rubbed off because it is an old machine, so I listed in terms of what % of the stack I was using. It was nice because in the summer I was only doing the full stack for 10-12 reps, so I can see I've made some progress. -------------------------------------------------------------------- March 16th Bis And Tris Standing DB Curls - 25lbs X12 (w/u) _______________ - 45lbs X9, X7 _______________ - 55lbs X4 Standing Barbell Curls - 95lbs X8, X6, X5 Standing DB Preacher Curls - 40lbs X6, X5 Arnold Concentration Curls - 30lbs X10, X10 Tri Pushdowns - 70lbs X20 ____________ - 150lbs X12, X11, X10 Standing Overhead EZbar Tri Extensions - 75lbs X11, X10, X10 Bodyweight Dips - X10, X10, X10 V-Bar Pushdowns - 150lbs X10, X9 pretty intense workout. My bis were pumped up and looking mega-swole by the end of the workout. My peak is looking much more pronounced than it has before. My tris were looking chizzled by the end of the workout too. Very satisfied with this product right now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ March 19th Chest Flat Bench - 135lbs X12 (w/u) _________ - 295lbs X3 _________ - 275lbs X5 _________ - 225lbs X9 Incline Bench - 225lbs X5, X4 ___________ - 185lbs X8 1 Arm Bench Machine - 120lbs X8, X8 DB Pushups - X10, X10 Standing Cable Flies - 25lbs/side X10, X9 Not bad overall. Pretty sad to see that my bench has fallen so much from my cycle (315lbs X4) but I guess a torn pec will do that to you. Overall bench is up from previous weeks, I'm pretty happy. Also noticed crazy pumps and vascularity. |
