NHA stands for Non Hormonal Anabolic, and consists of two products: ReboundXT (an ATD based AI) and Activate (a product that helps free up testosterone). The guys at designer supplements have already written a much better write up about it than I could ever give, I recommend you check it out here: http://designersupps.com/product_writeups/NHA_Stack.pdf As for my own information I have been lifting weights "seriously" for around 15 months now. When I began I was over 280lbs, very weak, and very fat. Currently I am 198lbs, around 16% bodyfat, and not as weak I keep consistent progress photos of myself, and my progress photos can always be found at http://fitness.patrickavella.comMy current supplementation (not including NHA) is as follows Morning 200mcg chromium picolinate AST multi 32x glucosamine/chondroiton joint support (generic) PWO 24g of whey protein 48g of maltodextrin 1g vitamin c 400mg green tea extract 400 iu vitamin e 99 mg potassium. Night AST multi 32x Joint Support Optionally calcium if I didn't eat any dairy that day I also take omega 3-6-9 pills with meals sporadically, and I eat a lot of coconut oil, flax, olive oil, etc. Most people consider these things supplements, I consider them FOOD. My diet: I have been weening myself off of a 15 month long cut as I'm spiraling into a full on clean and controlled "mass building program". For all of the summer I was on a CKD so my eating patterns might seem weird to some. I am eating approximately 3,000-3,500 cals a day which will be bumped up again if I continue maintaining the same weight. (I have been maintaining at this level for 3 weeks now). Typical days diet, varies widely dependent on what's on sale and what i feel like having. I admit to my diet not being as tight as it has been in times past, but all food I eat is 'clean' as far as I'm concerned. Meal 1: oats with skim milk and whey, omega 3-6-9 PWO shake Meal 2: same as meal one Meal 3: chicken breast and walnuts Meal 4: meat, green veggies, olive oil, salad Meal 5: same as meal four Meal 6: Cottage Cheese and flax cakes (flax+egg+coconut oil) Workout routine: I'm trying something new both in the gym and in the log. I'm doing "whatever the hell i feel like doing" It's basically a 5 day split (legs,chest,back,arms,shoulders/abs) but I will do whatever I feel like I need to do, whenever I feel I need to do it. I will be lifting at minimum 5 days a week though. All of my workouts start with a heavy compound lift (deadlift, squat, shoulder press, etc). During this log, instead of boring everyone (including myself) with typing out every single little rep, I will just ramble on about my big compound lifts, my over all energy, and over all strength. About the NHA stack: I was supposed to start this log nov 1st, but the activate hasn't come in the mail yet. I did however have some reboundXT on hand so I decided it's time to start NOW as opposed to later. I have no patience, and want to minimize any fat gain on my bulk (which will last till mid december or beyond). This log should only last until about mid december when I run out of rebound, but I will run out of activate at the end of november. I started taking the Rebound XT yesterday (10/31), at the dosing scheme of 3 caps a day. One in the morning and 2 before bed, always with a fatty meal. I will continue that dosing for one week, then i will cut back to 2 caps a day ... maybe We'll see how the side effects are.About the format of the log. Please do not mind my weird sense of humor. I will most likely give all of my log entries a funny title, and I tend to make a lot of sarcastic jokes. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | Day 2, the long and perilous journey begins. I have been sleeping like a BABY. Sleeping is usually a very difficult task for me, I'm a big tosser and turner, and never wake up refreshed. The past two nights I've slipped directly into a sound sleep, have had vivid dreams (no nightmares, just dreams about petty trivials through out my day), and wake up... get this... actually ABLE to get up w/o groaning for a half hour. I got to the gym on time for once, and had tons of energy. I started with seated dumbell shoulder presses, 5x8 with the 60lb dbs. I did not start losing reps until the last two sets (8,8,8,7,5). Then I followed that with a 5x10 of bb shoulder shrugs @ 275lbs Which also went awesome Followed by a5x8 db lateral raise @ 35lb dumbells ROAR I didn't miss a single rep, I'm scared to say not only did I gain strength on it, but it's time to go up. The verdict for today. MUCH better sleep, huge increase in stamina ALREADY, and strength is doing well. I'm curious to see what my next shoulder workout will look like ![]() Interesting tidbit, I really want to say I see increased vascularity (the vein on my bicep is snaking around with a mind of it's own) but you know what? I'm ALWAYS saying I have increased vascularity. If I really had increased vascularity for every time I talked about it, I'd be a walking spider web of veins, and I'm not I'm beginning to think the increase in vascularity might just be a natural progression, but we shall see.Time to go flex my mightest muscle. No not that, I have to go to school ![]() Be sure to tell me if I'm leaving any pertinent information out, or information you'd like to see.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | Day 2 and 2/3: Return to the gym I didn't have to work today, so I got an itch to go back to the gym ![]() I was maxing out the hip abduction and adduction machines at 205lbs 5 reps I maxed out the standing calf raise machine at 320 lbs at 15 reps (that's nothing new) here's a new one, i maxed out the torso twisty oblique machine thingy at 205lbs for multiple sets of 5 reps I also did an insane number of decline sit ups, and raised leg crunches, and i finished it off with a super set of forearm curls and rev. forearm curls. Good energy I feel like I could do it again despite hitting failure multiple times today.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | Day 3: Tight rope walking 40' up in the air Today is an off day from the gym, but a loooooooooong ass school day. (9:30am to 6pm ) I did a poor job of eating today, and unless i really pig out at dinner, I'll probably just barely come close to maintenance calories.Once again I slept great... had a tough time getting up, but once I was up I felt refreshed and awake. More weird vivid dreams too about pointless stuff. These dreams are fun and make ATD worth taking by themselves!! In gym I did rock climbing, catwalking, and tight rope walking, along with a small obstacle course. It was a lot of fun, and having some strength came in helpful when I was holding on to the rope for dear life 40' up off the ground :p Today was one of those weird days where everyone with breasts seemed to want to talk to me and be my friend. Maybe I'm oozing testosterone ![]() Completely unrelated to this log, I just got an invitation into an honor's society, and I've become such a popular math tutor that I'm considering leaving shoprite to just tutor ![]() I believe that's everything. Activate still has not come in the mail Hopefully tomorrow! Tomorrow I do arms.Oh yeah.... absolutely no DOMS in my shoulders or abs, and only a little bit in my groin... which is odd, because I really blasted myself! I still have DOMS in the lower back from deadlifting last sunday but not much. I'm still sort of new to deadlifting, so it makes me pretty sore.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | Day 4: If I got any sexier I'd have to censor my pictures Pretty good arm workout today. I started it with a 5x5 of weighted tricep dips with a 35lb dumbell. I don't think that's too bad considering I'm (officially now) 199lbs. I could/should have gone heavier though because i never hit failure during it. Then I did a 5x5 of 90lb bb curls, 3x8 seated tricep ext, 3x8 hammer curls, 2x4 tricep push down (30lbs away from maxing the cable machine!) and 2x4 of hammer curls. Hit failure a few times, but I still feel like I could go for round two, but skewl beckons. I'm looking good in the mirror too, my muscles appear a little harder/firmer, and I had an epiphany, maybe I can just work my arms exclusively and look like greg valentino ![]() Another deep night of sleep with cool dreams. Libido is going gonzo Energy levels all day long are fantastic.If i'm missing any info in the log, let me know!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | Day 5: Trying to grow a butt GREAT workout today. I made my first strength gain doing squats in what I believe to be months... and not only was it a strength gain, it was a big strength gain. Honestly, I don't know how many sets I did, I lost count after 4 But I did at least 4 sets of 5 reps atg squats with a pause at the bottom with 220lbs. That is up FIFTEEN POUNDS from my last workout. Then I did a few sets where I went into failure at 4 reps, then there was a good 3-5 sets of squats with lighter weights. I like to 'play around' on squat day ![]() After the squat festival I did some leg presses and seat hamstring curls, nothing new or groundbreaking... By the end of this log I hope to be maxing out the weight stacks on both machines Mood has been fantastic. Some really WEIRD side effects..... My voice has been cracking a lot. I was at work the other day and I said to someone "may I help you?" like I was a 9yr old girl. They just looked at me like .... maybe I'm going through puberty again? Also.... my nipples get hard very often ![]() Sleep has still been great. My appetite has not been raging... I'm having a tough time eating enough I think. I should probably do a few food logs to get on track, but I'm in the midsts of mid-terms and I don't think I could handle the extra stress of writing down everything I eat right now. I HAVE been gaining weight though. I weighed in at 199lbs solid today. I don't think it's all fat ![]() Tomorrow's exciting episode: Deadlifts. Today's cliffhanger ending... will the activate come in the mail today? ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | Day 5 continued: I'm not a whore. Really! I just thought it'd be good to chime in about extra curricular exercise. I do approximately ~1 mile of hiking at a very liesurly pace. (Kaaterskill falls, NY... google up a pic if you want, it's magnificant). My energy and mood have been fantastic, and for some reason my libido is going nuts. I keep bringing up libido because the last time I took ATD I was a limp fish for a week or more... I was scared that was going to happen again, but if anything it's been the opposite. Of course it could be a placebo side effect of being much more sociable with certain girls lately... but make no mistake about it, libido is unhindered. It was a nice hike by the way. I don't know if any of you hike, but it's very uplifting mentally to hike through a mountain forest to a destination of a 175' tall 3 teired waterfull ![]() I'm like the energizer bunny of exercise today.... ![]() |
