Default Sixpacks CVM Extreme LOG

Well once again its time to test out a cell volumizer product. I would like to thank Steve and the SNS crew for this opportunity. I will be taking this product on a cut to help preserve my gains I have made. I went from 168 to 195.5 over the past 5-6 months. I give credit to many people, Chuck Rudolph, Mike and Derek(Beast).

Other cell volumizer products I have take have been Vault,Clout, BO, Swole V-2 to name the main ones. Each of these have given me results in different areas and I felt different using each on of them. Vault I had gained about 6 pounds with give and take and Clout about 3-5 pounds give and take. Strength was up on all of them. BO was more of an endurance product for me as cardio seemed very easy and recovery will also one of the main benefits to it.

I hope to comprare CVM Extreme to these. Here is the write up http://www.seriousnutritionsolutions...vmextreme.aspx

I will be commenting on strength, enduance, stamina and recovery are the main 4 factors with this. My diet currently is a lean bulk but will be switching to a cut. I will post calories and details of this diet starting tommorow as I am in good hands. As of today my cals are at about 4600 high protien-carb and about 30% healthy fat.

My stats 195.5 7-8%BF

Workout split
Monday-Back/biceps/Traps
Tuesday-Legs
Wed-Chest/Shoulders/triceps
Thursday-OFF
Friday-Back Biceps/Chest
Sat-Legs
Sunday- Chest/Shoulders/Triceps
Cardio is done 6x per week

Yes this is alot of volume but I have been gaining off it so why stop. Any other questions feel free to ask please and enjoy the log. I will report on any changes from day to day.

Well first day of CVM Xtreme. I took one serving about 30min preworkout . Today was chest/shoulders/Tricep day

Taste- Well the tase was ok a mild orange type flavor. Not too tart at all and actually enjoyable. NOt too strong , but also not too week. It does have a strong orange color. I mixed it with abotu 8oz water

Endurance-Nothing to report today in this catagory. I will be taking it only pre-lifting not before cardio. I did 8 exercises today everything within the 5-12 rep mark.

Strength-Nothing to report on this as its too early to tell.

Weight- 195.5 this was taken yesterday and I will be taking it on a cut while trying to maintain strength.

I will be taking 2 servings one 30min preworkout and one 7 hours later before a meal.

Well Thursday was a cardio only day. I took one serving mixed with 6-8 oz of water. The flavor is orange and once again not too bad not too strong or weak.

Strength-Nothing to report on this as its too early to tell once again. Its as an off day tommorow is Back/Biceps

Weight- 195.5

Endurance- I did upper abs and 35min of interval work on the treadmill. Cardio seemed very enjoyable at 315AM this morning. Heart rate was the same betwen 140 and 160 for that time . Nothing out of the ordinary

Thirst-One thing I have noticed is the increase in water you have to take in. Instantly after taking a serving I am thirty as hell. This seems to last for a good hour as I drank about 2 liters of water in a 1.5 hour time frame. Increased bathroom trips have also been noticed.

Diet- Cut starts on Monday from my understanding but I wills start tappering down cals this weekened. I sent Steve my pics so he knows the progress. I have put on over 30 pounds in 6 months. Started at 166 now at 195.5

Saturday-Legs
BB Squats 3x5
Lunges 3x 12-15
LEg Curls 3x 10-15
Leg Exten- 3x 10-15
Seated and Standing calfs 3x 20-40
SLDL 3x5
Overall a very good workout. I am decreasing cals so I was a little worried my workout would suffer. Not yet is the case

Endurance-Cardio went well this AM I took a serving of Stim X last night at 530PM and could still feel it this morning. My higher reps legs sets today seemed to be easier but nothing out of the norm as of yet

Thirst-I continue to drink a load of water right after taking this. Today I finished off 2 liters during an hour time frame

Diet- Started to decrease cals yesterday will have final nunbers on Sunday cause I am really starting on Monday the full out cut.

Recovery- NO Doms from Back yesterday at all.

"Pumps-Well today my quads got blasted and I really did a nice little pump in my quads.

Stength- Stength was up 10 pounds on squat for my sets of 6,+10 on SLDL for my sets of 5. These two exercises will be the prime indicator of strength gain.
Tommorow will be chest-shoulder-triceps and will also weigh in tommorow.

Sunday-Chest/Triceps/SHoulders
Well I did have some DOMS today in my quads after I did my morning cardo for 35min. This is normal after my lower rep leg day. I took on serving of CVM 30min preworkout and then hit the gym. Very good workout today as noted below on strength increases while on a lower calorie diet.

Endurance-Not bad today doing cardio I did 5 extra minutes just to get some of the soreness out of my legs
Thirst-I continue to drink a load of water right after taking this. Today I finished off 2 liters during an hour time frame

Diet- Still decreased cals today sitting at around 4K. I could tell today my energy levels were a little down but not too bad. Starting the real cut tommorow. The diet is suppose to keep my strength even increase it while cutting me up a tad.

Recovery- Yes as noted Doms in my quads and a tad in my Hams

"Pumps-Well this was the first day I could really tell it may be kicking in as the pumps in my triceps and upper chest were very good.

Stength- Strength was up 2 reps on my DB press I got 90's for all my sets of 8, SHoulder PRess without back support up 5 pounds. THis is much harder and works your stabilizers(abs) much more as if you were to do them with back support. You have to lower weight a great deal. Close Grip BP up on reps on all my sets of 5 which is good hit all 5 with 215.
Tommorow Back/traps/biceps

Monday-Cardio 315 AM - Lifting 530AM- Well woke up did my cardio 35min of intervels on the treadmill. Endurance was good even though I am not taking CVM pre-cardio. I will report below as follows.
Endurance-Very good today as I said the cardio even though I am on decreased calories seem to go pretty well. I am noticing i am more sore then normal but that is to be exspected on a cut
Thirst-I continue to drink a load of water right after taking this. Today I finished off 2 liters during an hour time frame

Diet- The "real cut diet will start today as I hope it makes up for my activity level. I play city league basketball 2x per week along with Rugby 2x per week. I also do cardio 5-6x per week so getting in my meals and cals is very important. Will report today on total cals as I am getting the info later today

Recovery- Like I said Doms is increasing. Legs still sore from Saturdays leg workout. A little tight today in my chest area . CVM is helping with recovery as I will start to take xtend again once my shipment comes in today. 20 bucks for the big jug aint bad hehe

"Pumps- Pretty good pumps today in my upper back area. I could really tell while doing seated rows with the long bar. Also biceps felt good also. Not sure if one can fell the "pumps" more on a cut? Would this make sense

Stength- Stength was up 5 pounds on Lat pull down and up reps on seated rows. This tell me my endurance is going up on my higher rep sets 10-15 rep range. Other then that not much else to report on this end. 20rep squat day on Tuesday going for 205x20 . More to come

Tuesday-High Rep Leg Day-Cardio in the AM
Well today during cardio I could tell I am low in cals as my stamina was not what it ususally . Details below-

Endurance- Not as good as yesterdays cardio at all. My legs felt sore and my endurance was not as good. I can tell cutting takes it tole on cardio and recovery.
Diet- Well i started the real cut and its about 3200 cals on normal days and 3700 on carb up days. The foods are very basic and too the point. I fell satisfied for the most part and overall full. I am sure I will be ready for a carb up soon.

Recovery- Doms is an issue in my legs a tad. They felt better today after doing high rep leg day.
"Pumps- No increased pumps in my legs today

Stength- Well the good thing is I did go up in my 20 rep squats I got 205x18 which is good for me I got up 185 on SLDL for 16. I went up in reps on Hacks but stayed the same with leg press. Overall I was satisfied with the workout. I have been through about 1.5 weeks of CVM I weighed in at 192 yesterday at about 10am.
Tommorow is chest/shoulders

Wednesday- Chest /Shoulders- Cardio was performed in the AM on an empty stomach as always besides BCAA's

Endurance- Well endurance was good today on my higher rep sets of incline BB press, I got all 3 sets of 6,8,10 . I start out with 6 reps then take weight off FYI. ON my 3 sets of bench i go 3x5 well today I got 3x4 so I will stay at that weight until I get 3x5.

Diet- Well diet is around 3200 cals still on task taking the majority of my carbs around my workout time. Its different and is taking a little getting used to but all is going well so far. I don't ever skip meals or have cheat meals which I am sure many of you know by reading my past logs

Recovery- No so much today after leg day yesterday which is very very surprising. Usually my quads are sore as hell from high rep leg day , but today during cardio no such problem. Big plus for CVM here.

"Pumps-
Not so much today I would say a 6 out of 10 in my chest area

Stength-Yes up on reps on incline and DB shoulder press by 5 pounds on shoulder press and up on reps for incline barbell press. Bench stayed the same.

Tommorow-Cardio only day
Friday- Back/biceps/traps

Thursday-Just cardio day today I took one serving of CVM pre-cardio and I enjoyed a very good cardio workout doing 35min on the treadmill varying the speeds up and down. Finished off with upper abs today doing 2 exercises 4 sets a piece. Tommorw will be back/biceps/traps and lower abs

Endurance- Cardio workout was very good as this was the first time I took CVM precardio.Cardio seemed a tad easier but that be also all in my head who knows.

Diet- Well diet is around 3200 cals still on task taking the majority of my carbs around my workout time. Its different and is taking a little getting used to but all is going well so far.

Recovery-CHest is sore a tad from yesterday under my arm pits. Its a good soreness though and nothing I cannot deal with

"Pumps- Nothing today only cardio

Stength-N/A only cardio day

Friday-Back/Biceps/Traps

Well todays workout was another strong workout as my endurance is really picking up on my higher rep sets., Weight is about 191-192 as of this AM. Abs are becoming more visable once again and I am feeling great.

Endurance- Cardio was performed in the AM on the elliptical for 35min. Went very well a little DOms in my hams but not too major. Workout today on my higher rep sets from 10-15 reps and 12-15 were all very good and I hit all rep ranges
Diet- Well diet is around 3200 cals still on task taking the majority of my carbs around my workout time. Its different and is taking a little getting used to but all is going well so far. I really feel good on this diet and my recovery is better then I thought it would be when cutting. THe only bodypart not recovering as fast is my legs.

Recovery-Stated above is recovery is a bit slower on my legs then all other bodyparts, but taking into consideration I dropped cals by about 1k I am not going to complain

"Pumps- Bumps were great today in my upper back area doing V-bar pulldowns and also seated V-bars. I am feeling the pump more on my higher rep sets for sure. Its about 30min post lifting and I am still feeling it.
Stength- Strength was up on BB-rows and my reps were up on DB curls as well as Preacher Curls. I hit all rep ranges today which I am happy with.

Overall Observation so far- Well product IMO takes about a week to kick in. It reminds me alot like Vault as I am experienceing many of the same benefits, recovery, strength, minor pumps. Keep in mind I was taking Vault when I was bulking thus taking in about 1k more cals. That is what makes CVM even more impressive. Its allowing me to keep my strength and stamina while cutting.
Tommorow -Legs

Sat-Heavy LEgs, Cardio in the AM

Endurance- Cardio went very well this AM very recoverd for the most part. My leg workout also went well as my strength is increasing still while being on a lower cal diet
Diet- Well diet is around 3200 cals still on task taking the majority of my carbs around my workout time. Its different and is taking a little getting used to but all is going well so far. I did do legs today so we will see how my recovery will be tommorow

Recovery-No Doms to report today from Back and Bicep day yesterday

"Pumps- Well I could really feel it in my quads today but nothing out of the norm for the most part..
Stength-STrength increases on both core lifts today. Squats were up 20 pounds on my sets of 5 and SLDL I went up on reps by 4. I am very impressed with this aspect of it. Improving my core lifts is what I am after.
Tommorow is Chest/Tricep/shoulder day

Sunday Weighed in at 194 today. THis is crazy beings I have reduced cals by 1k and still keeping my weight.
Endurance- Cardio went very well this AM very recoverd for the most part. A little bit of DOMS in my legs but not as bad as I thought. Weight workout with my hihger reps sets went well as I hit all target reps.

Diet- Well diet is around 3200 cals still on task taking the majority of my carbs around my workout time. Its different and is taking a little getting used to but all is going well so far. Upped by cals today a tad to about 3600.

Recovery-A little doms in my quads today and in my hamstrings. I felt overall pretty good after cardio which helps out with the soreness
"Pumps- Very good pumps in my upper chest today and triceps. Looking alot fuller in my arms and chest area

Stength- Strength was up today on DB bench. I got all 3 sets of 5 with 95's and hammered out 80's for 6 on my first set of incline DB's. Skull crushers were also up 10 pounds on my first two sets of 5. Very please with CVM so far its helping me keep my weight while reducing calories.

Monday-Back/Biceps/Traps
Well woke up did my early morning cardio as usual. I was able to lift in the afternoon today which was nice beings we did not have school. Workout went well and was as follows:

Endurance- Cardio went very well this morning increased the speed of a few of my intervals on the treadmill. 35min this AM. Rep ranges on back and bicep day went very well as I hit all rep ranges again.

Diet- Diet is getting tweaked a tad as far as the macros are concerned. I will be around 3400 and 4200 cals

Recovery-A little soreness in my triceps but that is about it. Nothing in my chest area

"Pumps- Great pump in my back today doing by Pullups and rows. I feel the so called pump during back and bicep day the most so far

Stength- Strength was up on my pullups today as well as my Seated Rows. BB curls and hammer curls stayed the same> I don't plan on increasing weight on too many exercises being I am taking in less cals and it is a a recomp diet.

Tuesday- Weight post cardio 192
Cardio went well on the elliptical did 35min along with lower abs and side obliques.

Endurance- was up and felt pretty good during cardio. My right quad has been bothering me a tad until it gets warm then it seems to go away

Diet- Diet will be around 3200 cals today taking in carbs around my workout and sticking to greens in the later part of the day. Fat macros are so important on a cut for me being my test levels have suffered in the past from my diet being too low in fat.

Recovery-Recovering still pretty well no soreness today in my back or biceps at all. Feeling overall good.
"Pumps- No pump today as I rarely get a pump in my legs. The thing I notice more I guess with CVM is endurance
