Opposite from day 2. Go short and heavy on 2 hip/ham dominant exercises and light with higher reps for one quad dominant exercise. (Here, quads are accessory, so they go lighter, with higher reps) Triceps

Some notes on this program
To clarify how BGB works:
Day one is an upper body day: horizontal push-pull. This means back and chest, opposite movements so they don't tire each other out.
Back will hit back hard, biceps light. Chest will hit chest hard, triceps light. Chest also hits front delts a bit.
Since there's no leg work on this day, I toss in a calf exercise.

Day two is lower body: quad-dominant, hamstring accessory.
hitting quads heavy and hard, hams lightly. I toss in Biceps.

Day three is upper again: vertical push-pull. This means more back and shoulders. Bis get another small hit here with lat work, tris a small hit with some of the shoulder work and possibly some of the lat work.
Since there's no leg work on this day, I toss in calves.

Day four is lower: hamstring dominant, quad accessory.
hitting hamstrings hard and heavy, and going a little lighter and longer with the quad work. working all muscles HARD, but with different rep ranges.
Because arms aren't tired on hamstring-dominant day, I toss in triceps.


Cardio Training:
HIIT cardio 2-3 times a week
5 cycles of 2 min on/ 2 min off
on = running at a 7-8 level ( 10 being the highest)
off = walking at a 4-5 level


Diet:
Low Carb diet consisting mostly of lean proteins, veggies and fats. Very clean eating.
Daily caloric intake is usually between 1600-1800.
Meals consist of things like chicken breast, tuna, lean beef, super lean ground beef,turkey breast, fish, cauliflower, green beans, broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, salads, almonds, cottage cheese, eggs, egg whites, oats, etc.

I will post my menu and macros at the end of each day.

Supplements I am currently taking:
Fish oil (6g/day)
One a Day Carb Smart multivitamin
I am just now wrapping up 30 days on Scivation's Sesamin . Here's a link to that supplement log .
I will not be taking any other supplements with Red Acid.
I have also taken Omega Sports Nitro Evolution , in the past, but am not currently taking it now.

A little about myself:
I started trying to lose weight in Oct, 2003 at 302lbs. I had never given much thought to my weight...I had been having kids for the last 10 years and basically just ate whatever I wanted and never exercised. I mostly stayed pregnant...LOL. Well, one day I took a real, honest look at myself in the mirror and realized I wasnt the person on the outside that I was on the inside. I was at a point in my life where I was ready to make a change... This was the beginning of my adventure.
I immediately went on a low carb diet (atkins). I stayed rock solid determined with my eating and did not cave...I lost 110lbs in 10 months!!
I also discovered weight lifting, and began to research it and learn as much as I could about lifting. I bought myself a barbell set from Walmart for $30 and got started on BFL about a month or so after I started eating low carb. Soon, I realized I was in love with lifting...hehehe...and I convinced the hubby to buy me a weight bench! This is when I really started to get serious with my lifting. I started to gain strength and lift heavier weights! It felt great!! I challenged myself and did 3 back to back BFL 12 week challenges ( with a week in between each challenge)...but I was not eating BFL style, I was only using their workout routine.Soon I decided to switch things up and start finding new routines to do...this is when I started to feel really confident about my lifting. I am naturally strong, so it felt great seeing myself improve over the months and get stronger!
I came to a point, however, where I realized I needed carbs for my lifting workouts. I couldnt lift as heavy on a low carb diet as I could on a higher carb plan. So I reintroduced carbs into my diet. I gained 30lbs back fast! I was very discouraged, but kept with my diet plan and started to lose inches but no weight on the scale. I decided this was because I was gaining lean body mass from the lifting and losing fat too, thus no movement in the scale. I figured as long as I was losing inches I was happy!
I took a break from diet and exercise about a month ago. We were facing a major hurricane and things were totally chaotic here due to the evacuation, etc etc...and I took this as a time to eat whatever I wanted, as much as I wanted. This was NO GOOD...hahaha...I gained about 10lbs back FAST...I also gained a lot of water weight, but I am in the process of getting rid of that already. Its amazing to me how fast I can actually gain weight! Scarey!
Anyway...I am back on track totally now, so I do not like to dwell in the past....LOL...I have 4lbs extra on me from my weight I put on my application to test Red Acid , so please forgive me for this and know I am determined to get it off ASAP. I am totally excited about being a tester for Controlled labs Red Acid!

I also want to add that I am now doing a low carb diet again to try and get this fat loss moving. My body loses fat much easier on a low carb plan, so I am going for it! Hopefully my lifting weights will not suffer...but I will tweak as I go!
